Thanks for the love for B guys. Honestly I just feel so defeated. This boy has basically been sick for all of 2019. I mean, he's never been the healthiest kid around but this year he can not catch a break. This was the 4th time he's had some sort of bronchial thing, he's had a handful of stomach bugs, colds galore, terrible allergies, general stomach issues, I mean, how much can one little dude handle?
I'm sorry for the whoa is me... I'm just so tired of him being sick. Literally every time my phone rings when he's at DC I worry it's them calling to tell me he's sick, and half the time it is.
On the bright side, I am so thankful for my super nice work that doesn't say anything about how frequently I am gone. I LONG since burned through all my PTO.

ETA: I think the difference in them is like frequency of use, 1 is 3 times a day and the other is more often....I think.

I have an allergist (he's got peanut and seasonal allergies) - I Was waiting till January to go back b/c with my change in jobs and my old company changing insurances mid year, I'm on my 3rd deductible of 2019. I am just tired of hemorrhaging cash at this point. My pediatrician is insistent that he does not have any immunodeficiency but who knows. I know you, of all people, truly get it. We should start a support group. Wait, maybe that's what this is... |

Charlie’s eye is red and goopy. I’m guessing pink eye. I mentioned it to my husband and now he’s acting like we’re all going to die from it. He is convinced he has it; we’ll get it, and the children should be in bubbles. I get that it’s contagious, but calm down! Lol to YH. A co-worker of mine got it a few years ago and was so dramatic, "I have the most horrible grossest thing you could ever imagine....pink eye". I'll take pink eye over other crap any day...unless it's that weird pink eye tgrimes had that wouldn't go away! I did have horrible pink eye right before my sister's wedding that lasted a week, required multiple trips to urgent care/eye Dr and my eyes were basically swollen shut. That was weird. |

Pink eye is gross but I will take that over so many illnesses any day. Being a parent certainly helps with needing a higher stimulus to trigger the gross meter. In general I don't feel bad when I have pink eye. So it's a free day at home to binge watch shows with a few eye drops for tx. *shrugs* |

The only amendment I would make to this is when you are trying to have an adult conversation. Maddie has gotten so nosy. She ignores 90% of what I say but if I try to talk adult matters with S she's right up in our business.  |

Currently at the gastro. Some lady was about to throw down because she didn't want to fill out the symptom form. The Dr was refusing to see her unless she filled it out. She said she's been here 3 times in the last 6 weeks and shouldn't have to fill out the form every time.
Cause, you know, she's his only patient and he'll remember all of her symptoms. 🙄🙄🙄

My boss is trying to recruit me to join his NG unit in NV. It's tempting and I think I will in a couple of years. Overall I've got a good team in WA. Two members are absolutely awesome and will be in it for the long haul. Two are meh but don't have intentions of staying long term. So I want to take into consideration the grass-is-always-greener factor, but I think it would be a good move for my career. I will wait until I'm closer to my final possible promotion to use that as a bargaining chip. (If all goes as it should my packet for my next promotion will go out by the end of next year and I'll hopefully actually promote sometime in 2021.)

trtlcrzy i read about article today about a Dutch woman who moved to the states and realised there was a gap in the market in the USA: free sample baby stuff boxes, which are quite common in Holland. So she developed one! I thought of you, it’s called a noobiebox (of course no experience).

When M2 has pink eye, they prescribed him something different after I asked them if I could just use the ofloxacin. oflaxacin is also used to treat ear infections. We have a bottle of oflaxacin and a few bottles of ciprodex for ears. I have 2 different bottles of meds for pink eye. I'll look when I get home to see the difference. I wonder if it's the strength or something. |

A couple weeks ago H was prescribed trimethoprim-polymyxin b (POLYTRIM) for pink eye.
Moxeza is an expensive drop but works better than the other cheaper ones and isn't as many times a day.
Not that anyone cares. Lol.

The eye drops sting a little at first, it's not delightful. Of course the one time i needed my Visine eye drops i used the pink eye ones by accident and sonofabitch did that hurt, it took me far to long to figure out why it wasnt working. eeek that hurt |

Thankfully mh isn’t too much of a baby when he is sick, but he is such a pain the you-know-what when he hears someone around him has a sickness. Total panic and sure fire confidence he has that likeness, ailment, plague, etc. |
