I'm just counting down to when A gets home lol. He has a meeting and then lunch with a customer. Then 1.5 hour drive. So I'm guessing he'll be home by 3.

Happy Friday! My friend is coming over for a playdate and mimosas this morning. We are celebrating our dogs 10th birthday tonight with dog treats and cheesecake haha.

FWP - Since I got my "new to me" computer Wednesday, I've only been able to use one monitor. They need a different cord for the other one or sumshit. Anyway, I'm having to be old school and switch programs on one screen which is not delightful.

I have 2 large curved monitors...when I work from home on my 17" laptop, it's torture. I hope you get the cord soon! |

Happy Friday! We have our girls Christmas party tonight at our VP of Sales house. It's usually fun, but with the changes this week, it could be awkward. I'd kind of like to skip. I really need to watch how much I drink and what I say.
I have a facial scheduled for tomorrow. Sunday we are going to the Chiefs game, should be a busy weekend.

I'm starting to think I won't be able to wrap any presents due to the cats, Shithead 1, Shithead 2, and Dumbass. They won't leave the tree alone!!Ans now that I've added the tree skirt, they think I'm welcoming them with a cozy blanket.

Morning, Happy Friday!
This week has dragged on for some reason, blah. We're going out for dinner with our neighbour friends for the guys' birthdays, should be a fun time! I'm looking forward to not getting up with an alarm tomorrow morning and not rushing out the door, I need some relax time but it's not really the season for that..oh well 'tis the season.

Morning ladies! Yesterday was our company christmas party which I planned and was a little nervous about since I'm the new girl. Everyone is saying it's the best one in years, so I think it was a success! peachsmama yey for A coming home! MH came home yesterday and came straight to meet me at the party. which sounded like a good idea but then he was so exhausted from his job for the past few weeks that he was a bump on a log the whole night. So it almost would have been better if he had just gone home... |

Also, working till 3 then taking the kids to the pedi - S for his 6 y/o well visit and B for his follow up from all his illnesses. Fingers crossed he is doing better and we can scale back on all the steroids.
Also, S was nervous he was going to get a shot today. For those who have had the 6 y/o visit, no shot, right??

Hi girls!!!
Happy Friday. Tonight my sister is bringing over some Virtual reality headsets from her job. The boys love playing with them.
Tomorrow we have a play date with all three kids going to Dude’s BFF’s new house.
I think that’s the extent of our weekend plans. Hopefully I can get a lot wrapping done.

Morning, k finally went to bed and stayed down so I ran around like a crazy person trying to pickup, clean the bathroom, and did a 20min ride last night. J woke up and is covered in a rash, so I'm waiting for the ped to call me back, it's flesh tone but itches. I put lotion on him and sent him to school..
And my dad is having a contractor go over to assess mounting our TV to the wall. Totally unnecessary but apparently it's a priority for him. This is literally the last thing we have time to deal with right now, but if we don't accept then my dad will continue to complain that it should be hung and/or that we were ungrateful for his help. I am already hearing it that mh didn't call the contractor back yesterday afternoon in a timely manner...aka immediately.

I got a phone call from Texas Children's Hosptial.
Nurse: Hi, this is Sarah. I'm a nurse in Allergy & Immunology. I'm called on behalf of ::long pause:: Dr Ryder. (the immunologist I don't like)
Me: Okay...
Nurse: He asked me to call because he wants to see H in the clinic.
Me: Okay...
Nurse: Thursday Jan 9 at 8am.
Me: H has speech Thursdays at 9, so that time doesn't work for us.
Nurse: Well Dr Ryder is only in the clinic on Thursdays.
Me: Okay...
Nurse: So we'll see you Jan 9 at 8am.
Me: I already told you I can't make that time.
Nurse: Well, I guess I'll relay your message to Dr Ryder.
Me: I guess you will.
WTF? Now all of a sudden you're concerned about H? It was only after the infectious disease doctor reached out to the Allergy/immunology department that you're interested in seeing him. Fuck you and your 8am bullshit.

Oh BTW I forgot to tell you guys, the other day at pick up the aftercare lady whispered to me "You have to talk to S about kissing people" I was like, what? He has a new friend, C who he's been playing with a lot, we actually have a play date with him this weekend, and apparently he kissed him at aftercare. I told her I'd talk to him.
When we got in the car, I bring it up, and S says "I know, mom, Ms. C told me not to do it." So I ask him what happened and he said they were playing and C got in his face and he thought it would be funny, so he kissed him on the nose. I explained to him about personal space and what not, but honestly, I didn't think it was a big deal.
Anyway, I don't know the mom that well but we have texted a few times (he goes to the same "camp" for school closed days so we've coordinated and what not), anyway her facebook looks very... right wing, and not to be all judgy, but I was a little nervous that she would take it not so well, so I texted her apologizing. Thankfully, she thought it was funny and was not upset at all.

tgrimes I'd be pissed. If you're that concerned all the sudden, but you still can't see him for almost a month, and only 1 day of the week? This is a 2 way street, I also have obligations, so work with me on a date and time. And she sounded like she had no idea what she was doing.
