Meh, dont feel guilty.  It was MH's 40th birthday yesterday and it was a very regular day at home.  We'll have dinner this weekend out, thats enough.

The other day I said, "I can't get the trunk open." And Maddie retorted, "Just like you're open. That's a roast." So I was unsure if her roast just didn't make any sense like a lot of kid jokes or if she was unknowingly telling a dirty joke and insinuating that I was loose.

I took my H to a strip club with his friends for his 40th. One of the strippers was one of my classmates at the time. Then we fine-dined at Hooters. Their food is so nasty.

I messaged my friend that is in charge of the party tonight to see what kind of wine we’re having. Last years sucked so I need to be prepared ahead of time on whether I’ll be drinking wine or vodka. She double checked and said it’s some cheap shit.

Then she messaged me back saying she made them put 4 bottles behind the bar of some good stuff just for us. Not that I’ll be drinking all 4 bottles but it makes me happy that she, aka the firm, will take my palette into consideration.

Once I arrive I’ll need to get the info on which bartender I need to seek out for the good wine.

My Mom's dog is out of surgery. They had to take a large chunk (her words, not mine) out of her neck to make sure they got it all. My mom was able to see her and she can go home at 5. My mom doesn't want her staying overnight because no one is there at night and she doesn't want her to be alone.

tgrimes I was out with a friend yesterday and we agreed that the highest adult level is looking at a wine menu and actually know which one you prefer in stead of just ordering the cheapest one 😜.

Is 3pm too early for wine? L’s been a real feisty baby today. He’s taken a handful of tiny naps and wakes up screaming. I’ve surprisingly been very productive in those short spurts, but it’s just not enough time to get any big tasks, like mopping the floor, done.

I’m not sure if it’s from his shots yesterday or just being a baby, but it’s exhausting! I really need to work on getting into some sort of routine with him, for my sanity.
