At least I get out of volunteering. I'm going to try to convince Col to come to the gym with me then get him involved with some baking. We'll probably make a calendar or something on Shutterfly for DH and the grandparents, and relax together. Not a bad day off!!

Everyone here has a three hour delay, but we have like 3 or 4 inches so I wouldn’t be surprised if they call again and cancel.

Morning. I really need to do laundry and declutter and bring out the Christmas gear, but I’m not motivated one single bit. It somehow feels to early for Christmas this year. We’re ordering in pizza tonight and I can’t wait, maybe I should pick up a nice bottle of red wine 🤔.

Its freezing here this week. All in the 20s and 30s. I have paperwork and payroll to do today. And I need to order groceries. I think we might go see frozen 2 after school.

Happy Wednesday!!!
Just finished a light workout on the stationary bike. Not much on the agenda today. I might get started on wrapping gifts and wall washing once all the kids are at school.
I definitely need to work on a toy cull sometime in the next few days.

I'm at work. There is a spirit night at CFA tonight that mh is taking Cadence to, so maybe I can get an hour or so of peace after work.
Tomorrow is her holiday program, so that should be fun. It will also be her last night of ballet until January, so they have a little holiday dance to perform for parents. I was trying to explain it to mh and he kept asking why they didn't just wait until May for their recital. uh....because it would be weird for them to Frosty the Snowman in May.....

So, my Mom didn't have to put her cat down. She finally took him into the vet and he has a ruptured disk. They put him on anti-inflammatories and pain meds and should be better after awhile.
Waiting to hear from her about her dog's surgery today.

Morning. It's munchie day here on the floor so I'll be here just eating all day. Please no one remind me of these times when I loosely complain that my pants dont fit come January  B has a field trip to a Basilica for mass that's near my work so I might pop out and sit with him, he'd be so thrilled if I showed up. |

Today is MH’s 40th and he’s stuck with both kids tonight while I’m at this client Christmas party. I feel guilty not being home but oh well.

I definitely need to work on a toy cull sometime in the next few days. re: culling the herd, I saw a cute idea somewhere (FB?)...the 'elf' brought an empty laundry basket and left it under the tree with a note asking the kids to fill it with old toys (something cute and catchy along the lines of 'you have to give to receive'). |

Morning!
It is SO cold out...winter is here. Monday and Tuesday were in the upper 60s, such a tease.
We had speech, dropped something off to DH at his office, and then have been puttering around the house. The bus just came so I'm down to 1.
Random, but I am getting such a kick out of C at this age...she is personality plus and is really a delight to be around most days. Her antics crack me up.

Cadence was singing this classic this morning: "Mommy and Daddy sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-Y-N-B" um....what? LOL Don't worry, I corrected her, she then proceeded to sing verses I had never heard before. Something about babies drinking alcohol and babies playing basketball.  |

I barely survived this morning.
The kids were all in hellbeast mode. X struggles so much with diaper changes and I will feel like I’ve won the Lotto when we’re finally done with them.
Atticus has recently decided to have a major attitude and when I talk to Pete about it and tell him we need to address it his only response is “I’m sorry to hear that.” Lately that is all he has to say about any parenting challenge. Awesome, talk, dude. Super helpful. Can we discuss some strategies or are you going to be completely checked out forever?😳

I somehow broke my computer. I tried to restart it, unplug it from the wall,etc. then I tried to be fancy and close tasks from the task manager and I got the blue screen of death.
So now I’m sitting at work not able to do a damn thing. Good times. IT says they’ll either give me a new one tonight at the party or they’ll bring it out in the morning. Ummm, why can’t you do it today?

She pulled fast and as I tried to grab it to keep the mess from going everywhere, my hand went right smack in the middle of the poo. It was a shitty mess. On me. On her. On the bed. On the clothes. Baths and laundry all around. Such a delight 🙄. |

Hi! Today is infusion day. The nurse will be here soon. As will the directv technician to fix something. So I figure he will probably show up about the time we are trying to get the IV started.
MH is OOT till the 20th so I’m enjoying a quiet and clean clutter free house for the time being.
Last night I tried doing my nails with a dip polish kit for the first time ever. It’s not bad, but could definitely be better.
