I am home and have the house to myself...DH took both kids to B's golf lesson. I need to start dinner prep in a few minutes but right now I'm just enjoying a glass of wine and a cheese stick, lol. I got a lot of Christmas shopping taken care of at Dillards and stopped by the Clinique counter for a couple things I was out of. I've been stalking a handbag for my Christmas list and they had it on sale so I sent pics to DH (nothing like a subtle hint  ) lahdeedah there are some good sales going now through Sunday if you're interested. Current, in-season stuff...which I feel like is rare for Dillards! Don’t tell me this!! 😩 My credit card needs a break. |

I had a TB hobo bag in my cart last week and couldn’t pull the trigger. Damn new car getting in the way of my fun this year. That down payment has me feeling guilty about making other non small purchases. |

Ooh I love that! I saw that one online over the weekend. Fingers crossed your H took the hint  this is the one I've been eying. I feel like I have big (but super heavy) shoulder bags and smaller cross-bodies, so I like the in-between size of this one. |

PDQ: Well, J's teacher called to say he was involved in an altercation at recess. He wasn't the one fighting but got hit a few times. Apparently j reports that some middle schoolers through the fence were telling this one kid they'd give him a dollar if he beat up the other kids..and he did. And then the middle schoolers were cheering and taking pictures. So LMK if you see anything on Snapchat or tiktok or whatever🤬. J didn't have any visible marks but said he was pushed down and hit and kicked. I texted his friend's mom and her son has a bad bruise. I'll just be waiting by the phone for the principal to call tomorrow to explain wtaf is going on. The kid that did it of course lives in our neighborhood and is in his class.. I didn't invite him to the party be j had told me he's not nice, guess he was telling the truth.

tallb that’s terrible. Glad J wasn’t hurt but crazy that the older kids would do that. Meanwhile the middle schoolers at my school pulled the old “draw a giant penis in the snow just outside the school trick.” Of course I picked today to have a fraction scavenger hunt in my classroom with clues hanging on the windows which meant my students were first to discover the penis and I had to try very hard not to laugh while snapping a photo and sending to it administration. Lots of jokes this afternoon after a staff member who went out to try to cover it up announced on the walkies that it was “too hard” to cover.
