I only saw him for a few minutes but he looked better.  I'm sure I'll get an update from my MIL soon.  He called for me around 11 because he was coughing so hard.  I think I heard him come in our room coughing around 5 while I was in the shower.   MH got him to fall back asleep in our bed.  

I'm sure getting spoiled rotten by grandma today will help tremendously.

I got more information about how things are going to happen here over the next week with new ownership. Shit. Show. I'm going to hide out in my office. This has all been so poorly done, it's disappointing from my current management as well as the new ownership coming in.

Good morning. I still have a headache but my sore throat is better. Thanks for thinking of me. S has her Christmas program this morning. I didn’t realize until I was getting her shoes on that the ones I thought fit her no longer do so I’m at target buying dress shoes. flamingo she’s wearing your favorite snowflake dress today. I have to be back at 10:45 for that so I’ve got an hour.

I've been told my job is safe, but I know what I do can be done from anywhere, so I read my indeed.com emails daily!  Three people are losing their jobs, but one is our CEO and I know he negotiated a 2 year contract for a different position.  But he's not going to explain it that way.  He was part of what has made this drag on so long.  

As of Thursday at midnight, my company will cease to be in operation.  Real checks are being cut to pay everyone through Thursday.  These checks will be handed out Tuesday to all employees (production and management) at our Christmas Lunch, when the new company will announce they bought us.  There are a lot of people who have no clue any of this is happening.  I think it's been poorly communicated and the damn Christmas lunch is not the time to make the announcement.

I just got a text from our babysitter that she and her H are on the fritz. So she and their baby are at her moms, a few towns away. So she can’t watch Sierra. If they mend the fences, she will be able to again...but if not, she is out of the game. Ugh. I’m sorry for them. But I have no idea what to do now. I’m going to talk to her aide at school and see if she has any ideas of anybody that would want to watch her after school. This is when I wish my parents were close by!

I'm just glad I'm kind of in the know about what is going on. But the people who work on our production floor? Limited education, English not their first language, it's going to be confusing AF to many people. A Christmas lunch should be a happy occasion.

Add to it that our HR Manager, who many trust, as well as our CEO, will be gone, it's going to be such a mess.

I'm actually glad our CEO won't be here. He would somehow turn it around to how sad he is, how he understands the position we are all in, blah blah, which is total bullshit because I know he negotiated a multi million dollar contract for himself. I think I'd punch him in the face. I have zero respect for him now.

So yeah, the next week will be something around here.
