Does the senate than vote after the house? that is the 'trial' portion. They will hold their own hearings, etc. then if they choose they can proceed with a vote. Thats when the backroom negotiations begin.
Nixons never got that far and there was a lot of concessions during Clintons trial. So are sort of in uncharted territory.
Maybe Rs can stop complaining about not having material witnesses when the president keeps preventing the material witnesses to come and be witnesses. How can they complain the Ds are not calling those witnesses when they refuse to come in? ALSO Where the FUCK is the blow back for refusing to comply with a subpoena. Where are the justice department agents that are supposed to take those people for jail for 30 days until they comply? WTF was the point of the subpoena is there is no weight behind it?

Just wanted to stop and take a second to give kudos to Chevy. See the spoiler for more info. I am lucky to be here to post today. SPOILER: {Accident Story}I was riding to work this morning in the left lane of a 4 lane load. A Chevy Blazer was about 2 car lengths ahead of me in the right lane. All of a sudden a Honda Civic coming the other direction I saw cut across the road and I thought he was trying to get into the Dunkin Donuts before the Blazer so he didn't have to stop and wait. Then I realized he had no brake lights on as he SMASHED into the Blazer right in front of me. He was doing like 40mph. He bounced off the Chevy and spun. Not havening anywhere to go I had to drive between them as the Blazer bounced to the right and the Civic spun to the left. Plastic pieces bounced off the windshield and roof of my rental. I immediately pulled over and called 911. Got dispatch to send help and hung up. I got out to check on the Chevy driver. AMAZINGLY he got out with a bloody nose and lip but waking around and talking. The guy in the Civic was moving around too and we being helped by an ambulance that was a few cars behind us. This was all in front of an Ambulance station as well. The Chevy guy said all he remembers was flags of light and then being surrounded by airbags. I wanted to say amazing this guy was able to go all away thanks to the safety features of that car. Kudos.

Oh my gosh JukEboX you obviously did some quick thinking, thank goodness you're ok! And I'm so glad nobody was seriously hurt. Did the Chevy just not see the Blazer? I'm confused

JukEboX, yes, I agree - you need a couple of seriously boring weeks, but I thought I read you got some great news from the insurance company? I hope that's right and just the start of lots of good news. dc2london, a Honda Civic apparently lost its brakes and/or failed to brake and hit the Chevy Blazer. The Chevy Blazer is apparently a very well made vehicle.

I hope that's right and just the start of lots of good news. dc2london, a Honda Civic apparently lost its brakes and/or failed to brake and hit the Chevy Blazer. The Chevy Blazer is apparently a very well made vehicle. Your right. For anyone who doesn't know I hit a raccoon on the way home last Tuesday night at about 8PM boxes in between a car on my right and guard rail on the left. I had no choice but to hit him. He made it across 3 Lanes of traffic and just didn't make it across mine. I feel awful bout it for him. Needless to say I thought I was ok. Can kept going straight, I didn't lose any lights. A mile later my water temp alert went on and I had to get off the highway. I parked the car in the driveway of a condo complex and called AAA and DW to pick me up. Got out and saw he went through my bumper smashed into my radiator and then out. I can't see what else he broke. So needless to say the car is BACK at the body shop for the second time this year. Sigh. And for anyone who doesn't know the car and I have a storied past. It is my daily car. My show car. I do 140 miles a day in it. It has 247000 miles. It has won 3 awards including one DIRECTLY from Mitsubishi. So when I submitted the claim the app immediately thought my car would be totalled. So many things were going through my head. I went and looked at cars. DW told me I could get a newer car that I would enjoy for show car and weekend car and a beater car to get all the miles I do to work. After waiting a week for the adjuster to get to the car because of the holiday weekend they came back and said they will fix my car. $1700 so far. A small price to pay for the life of that poor racoon. And also it's a good thing that I will push this car further as it's not time for me to find my dream car and a daily. We are having no. 2 in April and I gotta pay off a bunch of other stuff. And I will be taking at least a whole month this time for this kids. Longer than I got last time after I maxed all my vacation out of 2 weeks for DD. NOT mention the week before I had to call 911 for an accident on the highway where a car has t the Jersey barrier and was just completely dark on a 8 lane dark highway. These things follow me around. I have more stories I can put in a thread. It's been stressful. And the stress of trying to get shipping and wrapping and everything done by Christmas. Plus the 56 hours of work a week. I need a break. It's been a ride. Thanks for all the kind words.

Not shocked. At all. Makes total sense for my family that lives there. They say they’re republicans, but deep down it’s basically anarchy and self governance they’re looking for. My mom is pretty much very close behind and pricing out ranches in Montana to retire to.

It's absurd that they have managed it thrice
From what we’re hearing from Republican senators, it doesn’t seem like there are many more willing to do the White House’s bidding to block the Armenian genocide bill. WH has got senators to block it 3 times.Unclear if they manage a 4th when @senatormenendez / @tedcruz try again.

Yes, I'm yelling, and yes, I am yelling at the wrong people, but JFC,I am so goddamned sick of the "heritage" bullshit.
