"Evil Corp?!" Who teaches criminals how to name their shell corporations?! Well Fraud Inc was already taken. What did you expect them to do
I expect to see a bunch of shell corps come out after the new year named after Marvel & Disney Villains. Maleficent LTD CruelladeVilla Inc Jafar & Associates
Lex Luther Industries Co Magneto LLC
(I had to look up a Marvel Villain, I dont comic book)

oh man. That was so good. Some reporter shouted after her that she just "hates" the president. She walked back to the podium, artfully took him down, and then said, "Don't mess with me" before walking out of the room

James Rosen posed that "are you doing this because you hate Trump?" question.
It got Nancy really fired up.

Rand is so fucking out of touch. The average American buried under student loans doesn't have some massive nest egg to wipe out their debt. Like what the fuck, guy. But FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE THO.

I want to laugh so hard but it’s not a joke. I’m not even a free college for everyone person but this is so lame. “Pay for college by robbing your future self” 👍🏼 And also lmao to the two parents with the flush 401k stepping up to pay the student loan debt. In what world? Who has a 401k or IRA when they are 18 and going to college?

I think it’s a stupid idea regardless.

Another Republican announces his retirement I'm frankly shocked. He's not a Trump fan but he won re-election by a big margin (76% of vote).

Potentially triangulatey, but I’ve hired David Wasserman to speak at my work meeting tomorrow. I’m interested to see his take on everything, especially given Nancy’s stuff today. He sent his powerpoint yesterday but I’m kind of scared to open it. He usually has a pretty good view of things and I really don’t want to see him suggest things I don’t want to hear 😂

So Nancy said she’s moving ahead with impeachment does this mean it goes to a vote? How long does this take?

I'm unsure of the timeline

I’m cynical so I feel like the ones leaving and not trying to stand up and fight are doing the “I’ll go corporate for a bit and run again when this is all over” jig. Kind of like pulling money out of the stock market for a bit and then putting it back when things seem more stable. But I hope it backfires spectacularly for these cowards.

Does the senate than vote after the house? that is the 'trial' portion. They will hold their own hearings, etc. then if they choose they can proceed with a vote. Thats when the backroom negotiations begin.
Nixons never got that far and there was a lot of concessions during Clintons trial. So are sort of in uncharted territory.

Ok so based on the flow chart he’s impeached because the house has a Democrat majority, or am I reading it wrong? This is a huge day.

Ok so based on the flow chart he’s impeached because the house has a Democrat majority, or am I reading it wrong? This is a huge day. Assuming the democratic caucus sticks together, yes, he will be impeached and it will move to the Senate for trial.
However removal from office will require 67% of the Senate.
Clinton was impeached however the senate either acquitted or split on the 3 articles President Clinton is acquitted of the two articles of impeachment. Rejecting the first charge of perjury, 10 Republicans and all 45 Democrats vote "not guilty." On the charge of obstruction of justice, the Senate is split 50-50. Afterward, Clinton says he is "profoundly sorry" for the burden he imposed on the Congress and the American people.

I think that’s exactly what they are doing. Kinda like Paul Ryan. They are spineless and deluded. I don’t think the Grand Ole Party is ever going to be grand again after these shenanigans. Old, yes. Grand, no.

Ok so if he’s impeached, but not convicted can he still run in the 2020 election? Yes, he could still run. If he is removed, they can have a separate vote to prohibit him from holding federal office in the future.
