Happy New Year! Anyone doing anything exciting tonight? We are doing nothing and will most likely be in bed long before the ball drops. We have never been big New Years Eve people and even more so now that we have kids.
It’s been snowing for 2 days and we finally have some decent snow on the ground. N was so excited to be able to make a snowman for the first time this season.
I’m not looking forward to going back to work on Thursday. Getting back into the normal routine will be good for the boys though. We sent E to school (daycare) just so he would get a break from his older brother. It’s certainly quiet when he’s gone.

Happy New Year’s Eve!
Our tradition is going to a friends house in comfy clothes (thank goodness!) and eating prime rib and playing tons of games. Kids are invited but we aren’t bringing the boys. My sister comes into town tonight and we’ll celebrate Christmas with her and my nieces tomorrow, watch the Rose Bowl (GO BUCKY!) and just have a relaxing day. We got a decent snow last night so hopefully the kids can burn some energy. I’m off the rest of the week and have a hair appointment scheduled which is so long overdue and my H’s work holiday party on Thursday. Friday the kids go to daycare so I get to shop and relax all day. Work has been stressful so I am hoping I can mostly unplug from it for the next few days!

I would love to ship the boys off and have some time to myself. I was home 12 days and only 2 of those weren’t preparing to entertain or entertaining.

Happy New Years Eve, ladies! I’m ringing in the new year with lots of rest, fluids, and amoxicillin for an ear infection 🥳 my parents wanted the boys overnight tonight so DH and I made an epic dinner and are watching a movie.

We're all stuffed full of snacks for dinner and curled up on the couch watching NYE stuff on TV. Real rager.

Quiet one over here too! My one friend is visiting so we made steaks and are watching movies. I took down the tree too.

Ooh exciting!! We chose Oahu this time but it was a tough call because I love Maui. We are only going for a few days (but I think we have a much shorter plane ride than you do) because that's what MIL booked for, and then we are heading to Seattle for a few days after that. H goes for work all the time, but hasn't gotten to be a tourist, and I and the kids have never been. Yes. We are in Maine and flying out of Boston. So this is our first and most likely only trip to Hawaii. I can’t even imagine flying in for work. Lol. I’m going with my family, mom, and sister’s family. So there are 9 of us and we could split the expenses. Hence why we are going for 2 weeks. Oh I meant H goes to Seattle all the time for work, not Hawaii! I wish it were Hawaii, haha, I am sure he does too. That's a long way for you guys!

The science center in Seattle is fun for kids (and adults)
