Just football and Christmas decorating on the agenda today; both my and DH’s teams have big rivalry games.

I didn’t do too much damage yesterday, but I am super excited about the hardback Christmas-y placemats I ordered from Pottery Barn. I got some fall ones back in September and have loved being able to wipe them down. Guess I’m really an adult now 🤦🏻‍♀️

Since converting the crib, H is waking up anywhere between 5 & 6. This morning was the first time he didn’t slam the door though. It’s crazy to me since he used to just lay in his crib quietly and not wake up till 7ish.

Maybe he’s sleeping too much and I should cut his nap. I’m going to give it some more time but I really thought he would be breezy about the change.

Hmm tgrimes would he stay in his room with an ok-to-wake clock? Or maybe it’s just the novelty of being able to climb out of bed, and once the ‘new’ wears off he’ll stay put longer. C lies in bed a lot of mornings and sings/talks to herself before calling for us, but I feel like it wasn’t like that when she first transitioned from her crib.

I don’t think he would understand the clock yet. He’s a bit behind most kids his age, if that makes sense.

M always stayed in her bed. It wasn’t until she started the vomiting episodes that she’d get out. So this is all new for me.

flamingo I love that type of placemat, they are so nice to wipe down. I almost ordered some new cereal bowls from PB yesterday, we love our dishes but the bowls have a ton of chips.

I ordered a new humidifier from Amazon that had a coupon, but not sure if it was much of a deal. I also got some high waisted zella leggings from Nordstrom to try.

Morning, I've been up with all 3 since 7 and was just about to venture out to order a cake and mh finally wakes up at 9:30 and now is in the shower. I am in dire need of one, but yet I'm just on clean clothes 🙄. Maybe we will get out some decorations today, but I think we will wait on a live tree for another week or two.

Also, thanks for the Costco card rec! They have upped their game this year and the styles are nicer than I remember. I popped in my two pictures and love it, and it will only be $64 for 100🙌. Normally it's about $100 for postcards through minted, and these are real cards.

I ventured out yesterday, but just to get the things for the Mrs. Claus gift and to fill the Advent calendar.

Today will be pretty low key. We are currently at gymnastics and swim later this evening. Cadence wants to put up her little tree in her room, so I told her she has to clean it first.
She and mh put up the big tree yesterday and she actually cleaned up a bit so they could do that.

The tree is up but some of the lights burnt out so we need to get some more. MH also put up icicle lights above M’s window. He has other ones to put up on the rest of the roof. He claims it will get done today, but the auburn/Alabama game is on this afternoon so I highly doubt it.

We were out and about with family yesterday and I didn’t read the thread until midnight. We are going home today just after lunch.

I didn’t do too bad shopping wise. Decided to not get the laptop. I couldn’t pull the trigger after just buying a car and paying for the Disney trip. I got a few clothing items for myself at 50% off. I also bought M a table top air hockey game, and M2 a baby shark game. That’s it. I was supposed to go out to find a set of Christmas wreaths. I might do that today if the sale prices are still good.

I tried to get a Christmas card pic Thanksgiving Day, but M2 was a tired mess, so nada. I may try again Sunday so I can order them soon.

We are doing a thanksgiving meal at my moms today with my sister and her family. My grandparents are also coming. Then this evening we are going to see Frozen 2 at a theater with reclining seats. I hope I don’t fall asleep!

Add me to the list of trying to get the Christmas card photos done today, but of course B needs a haircut first. Then I’ve got to try and make the idea in my head look good...could be a pintrest fail 🤷‍♀️

I think the most exciting Black Friday purchase for me will be my college classes. They are 20% off and when I completed the first class, I got a code for 10% my next purchase for the next 10 days that can be combined with other offers. I think I’m going to buy all 8 that I need because I stalked last year’s sales and this is the best deal.

I drove home this morning then ran for dog food/groceries because we have a storm coming tomorrow and there was no food here. Making lunch then C needs a nap. He’s a beast when tired (and also when not tired-he slapped a kid across the face at the aquarium yesterday.) Thankfully, the mom was very nice about it and the boy didn’t cry. I was so embarrassed and upset and T was worried we were going to get kicked out.

Hi! It was crisp out for running group then after a shower, I took the kids to the library, with a quick stop at the post office to drop off our cards. I haven't been this on top of them for years!

Chase is going down for nap soon and DH already opened the Christmas tree box up for me so we can get it up and fluffed then decorate once he's up. The kids are I full-on Christmas mode so I'm super excited.

Hey. We took the girls to get their haircut this morning, S’s first cut, and that went well. I did some cooking and now we’re on our way to my sister’s house to celebrate thanksgiving. I was supposed to make a homemade pumpkin pie but I wasn’t feeling it so I made DH go out and buy one. This evening we are planning to go to the hockey game.

I’m just at soccer watching B and I can see him on the bench telling anyone that will listen about his dental surgery and his ‘ironman’ teeth, I can see him pointing to his mouth and nattering about it. Too funny.

Also, he had a couple duplicate gifts from his birthday and instead of exchanging them he asked if we could donate to the Santa’s Anonymous box that’s set up here at the soccer centre, we added in a couple more and he was so proud dropping them off this morning 😍

I would leave him with the kids during the Auburn game. Even if it’s just to sit in the car of a parking lot to read.

We’re still in Memphis. I wanted to hit up a few stores before we left. We are eating lunch and then MH wants to stop at the Nike outlet because he has gift cards.
