TGIF, and I've only worked 2 days this week. And the term work is used lightly. I found some in home daycare on nextdoor and they have called to schedule a tour...I'm hoping it's acceptable bc they have an opening in Jan and is like half the price of our center! Long term we want her closer to my work though since getting all the way home by 6 is stressful, but I'm feeling better. Also someone rummaged through both our cars last night. We lock our cars... I don't think anything was taken. Mh noticed his car and then checked mine and said it was fine...I guess he's used to a mess in the car since when I went out the driver's seat had all the contents of the center console on it 😳. I have heard of people using some tool that can control keys inside houses to unlock cars, so I guess that may have happened? Or a break in kit. H has one for work, it's just this long stick like thing that he can use to push the button to unlock it. I've seen him use it. Anyone can buy one. I'm glad nothing was taken! |

It's an effed up world we live in now (and the idea of children going through AS drills at school absolutely pisses me off), but as an adult with this nonsense I can at least laugh about it here. I mean, I was told not to answer the door even when someone knocks. Done and done. So the drill goes on until the end of the day! don't answer your phone either otherwise the shooter will know you're there. |

I'm ready for the weekend! We have nothing planned which will actually be really nice. I think grounding (and the subsequent torture of repeatedly having to tell her friends she couldn't play) really got thru to Layla last weekend. She only had one semi-bad day this week. Light? Tunnel? Is that you? Damn, I need kids to come to our door wanting to play with Cadence. Same. |

Hola.
I had a good tennis lesson, he said I was hitting the ball really well. I'm working on my footwork and feel like a wounded gazelle sometimes so I'll take whatever encouragement I can get.
We're having leftovers for dinner and thankfully don't have anything going on this weekend, so coupled with the cold/rainy weather I'm looking forward to relaxing and getting caught up on some things the next couple days.

So I've found the two extremes of childcare today. The nanny share I found last night is literally on the same block as n's school, which would mean I would only have to make one stop. But the price is $13.5 an hour per family 😳. Man, that'd be fabulous though if we could swing it.. I don't think they'd take us for just two months either.

Hey. I tried to check in earlier but only got so far as reading before I had to move on. After I dropped S at school I went to Party America to buy plates and stuff for H’s party. I got up to their register and the card machine wasn’t working so I stood there for an extra 10 minutes while the guy was on the phone with IT. Cool. Then I went to the grocery store and ordered her cake and bought some snack foods for the hotel. S was a pain in my butt today so that’s mostly what I’ve been dealing with. I have locked myself in my room and am thinking of taking a nice long, hot bath. mwhip that really sucks. You should have listened to your H though 😂 Also, what kind of phone do you have? There should be a way to change the pin. Probably in the settings under security. tgrimes I hope M doesn’t catch the stomach bug lahdeedah what concert are you seeing? I saw Garth brooks by myself a few years ago and it was just fine. |

I tried to go to the walk in clinic before getting M and the receptionist told me they didn’t have a spot for me because a few of their providers left to go to another clinic opening one town away. Talk about annoying. They have another one in town, but I didn’t have time to drive there and then drive back to get M. I checked and the other one stays open late, so I just got here. Dropped the boys with my ILs at home after getting their haircut. I still have to pick up the cake and get ready. I’m tired. 😩

Hi, I’m out of touch and have no idea what’s been going on. I’ll try to read back. I only worked a day and a half this week. Dh was away and C and I have spent way too much time together. He was great really. I just need to not be breathed on for a bit! I fully plan to make dh do the parenting this weekend. I think Cs neighborhood friends are around too so he will be occupied.
I need someone to take my credit card. I’ve spent about $500 in the past 12 hours. But Cs Christmas gifts are done and I got some needed clothes.
I saw an Ent this week to do some testing and whatnot for my vertigo she ruled out the ERs diagnosis of benign positional vertigo and diagnosed me with vestibular migraines. So we have a plan of action and I’m hoping this takes care of it. I’m in a short course of prednisone now and feel kind of funny.
I need to vent about people commenting about bodies. I love to hear I look good. Who doesn’t. But one of Cs friends moms came up to me at the nail salon and said “ oh are you ok?! You got so skinny!” That coupled with a few “you’re withering away” comments from guys at work have made me worried I look sickly. I am right smack in the middle of a healthy BMI and feel fine. I think the guys say it because they don’t want to say “you look good” to the HR person. But the mom bothered me. Anyway, vent over. People just can’t do things right 😉

I have the S9 too and just tried to change my PIN. You are right, an error pops up and says you have to reset your phone to reset the PIN. You can set it up for fingerprint though. That's what I use. |
