For us the kindergartners are required to sit in the first three seats on either side of the aisle. Anybody can come up there and sit with them but they are not allowed to go farther back than three deep. Same in our town. Col sticks closer to the front as well, since it's primarily 4th and 5th graders in the back.

Col had one crazy and just plain mean kid in his class last year, J. He had a couple followers but they aren't so bad when J isn't around and thankfully he's not in their class this year.
That said, we saw J at a birthday party mid summer and he seemed legit excited to see Colin and tell him about his summer. I kind of feel bad for the kid - like what could make a 5 year old so mean?

I hemmed those stupid curtains. The first one was too short, and the second is like an inch too long. I put the shorter one behind the bed, but calling it good enough. I'm proud of myself though!
In other news, our pix came back and there are some awesome ones...and then there are the family ones that include me and I look so puffy and my shirt was very unforgiving...not sure why I didn't do layers😣.
