It’s cold outside. Wind chill in the 20s for us. Brrrrrr. Not sure I have ever experienced 20s temps in November.

It was 60 degrees at 2 pm yesterday. It's now 18. With a real feel of 7. Wtf. It dropped so fast! And we were told the snow wouldn't stick. I call bullshit. As does my front yard.  |

Morning! I feel ya peachsmama...it was 69* here on Sunday and then yesterday we had snow, sleet, and ice and it got down to 12* with a wind chill of 0* 🥶. Sierra’s school dismissed early yesterday because of the weather. And canceled today. But I have a facial scheduled so I took her to the babysitter. Headed to facial now, then picking up cupcakes for Sierra’s birthday celebration at school tomorrow. It was supposed to be Thursday but she has an infusion so won’t be there. |

I have some boxes to go through today and clearing out the boys closets. I also need to figure out if I have something to wear for two events I have this weekend. tgrimes Hope everything goes well today for H. How is he doing so far without food? |

Happy Anniversary wineallthetime! Working from home today is the best. Since everyone is working from home, there have been limited emails. I'm going to take a hot shower soon and run to Target BY MYSELF! We need to get Evie's birthday present, so this really works since she's always here. |

Morning! It took me all of last night and this morning to finish reading the Monday thread. Everyone in this house is pooped, but what a good weekend it was. Lots of outside time, really good meals , and some hotel fun.
The kids loved Kartrite. And it surprised me how adult friendly it was, as well.
Right now I don’t think we wouldn’t do more than one full day at the water park again because it made everybody just too exhausted and Charlie was a little too young for maybe half of the rides. I’m sure will go back but I’d rearrange our agenda some.

Showed up to my 9am facial and she wasn’t there. I called her and she forgot to write me down after we texted about it last week. So now it will be a 10am facial. So now I’m having breakfast at a diner. I ordered eggs Benedict because it’s my fav! I seldom see it on a menu around here!

Also, embarrassing moment of the day...I didn’t write down the name of the bakery I ordered Sierra’s cupcakes from. There are 4 in this town. So I have to call and see which one has my order 🤦♀️. I feel so scatter brained some days!

I have the itch to begin decorating for Christmas. I think I will start this weekend. We’ve never done anything outside because we have always lived in a townhouse, and last year I was just getting used to being here for the holiday season. Now I want to put more than just a wreath on our front door.
Our windows aren’t symmetrical from one side of the house to the other so I don’t know if it will look like it’s too much or not. Do you put a wreath on each window or do you put it in the space between the windows?

Morning. H is at school and damn it was cold walking to the bus today. The actual temp was 5, but I’m not sure what the “real feel” was. If it’s bitterly cold I might just drive her to school so we don’t have to wait at the bus stop. I’m pretty sure we were just wearing sweatshirts and fleeces this time last year. We are putzing around the house this morning cause I don’t want to go back outside. I hope the rest of the waiting time passes quickly tgrimes. If I couldn’t eat, I’d be hangry so I don’t blame him for being a bit crabby. wineallthetime happy anniversary! DH and I didn’t exchange anything this year, just went out to dinner as a fam. |

A mom at the bus stop broke my heart this morning. Her daughter (in K with josie) was getting bullied on the bus ride home by a first grader. One day last week, the kid pushed her head into the seat.
The mom didn’t know about any of it until Friday morning. The driver never saw it, no aides, and her daughter told her on Friday, but apparently it was days after it happened.

I drive everyday bc it’s too much with bags and Charlie. We just have his backpack (and now snow tote bag). I put A in the stroller usually and the rest of us walk. Our bus stop isn't far though... Maybe 10-15 houses down. |

The first week of school our K neighbor was looking at a pic of her baby sister (her comfort item) and a bigger kid took it. C tried to get it back and the kid told C he was going to kick him in the head. C was scared but luckily we haven't had any issues since. At least none he's mentioned. |
