Happy Anniversary wineallthetime !!!

My aunt is freaking Mary Poppins, I'm ready for her to move in. She was up with us at 6:45, made pancakes, has made baked oatmeal, watched the girls while I took j in, and now helping me with fixing those gd curtains. I even exercised some and hoping to get my winter clothes out and put away.

We may go to the library this afternoon after we pick up j, we haven't been to the one near our new house (still go to our old one🙉).

Hi ladies!

Layla adores Old Town Road. At the Fall party all of the kindergarteners sang it.

The bully stories break my heart I'm sure it happened when I was in grade school, but it just feels so much more vicious these days.

My boss is back from TDY and volunteered to quadruple our workload in one of the sections I manage, so that will be fun to figure out. Other than that, just a normal day. Tim needs to get back to work soon though, his mood is getting really depressed. He doesn't handle not working very well.

Waiting for H to wake up. They did a nasal scope and didn’t find anything abnormal. Everything they suctioned from his nose and ears they’ll send off to the lab.

tgrimes, do you get to see what they suck out? While that sounds very gross, I'm interested to see if it looks like normal mucus or not.

We actually pulled the plug on Netflix recently. If something comes out we specifically want to watch (i.e., The Crown) we'll get it for a month and then cancel once we finish. We just felt like we had way more TV content than we use with Hulu, Prime, etc.

OK it took me forever to read today so I'm going to try to remember everything

1) I can't believe how much bullying is already happening and kudos to C wineallthetime for standing up for his friend
2) S and all his friends love Old Town Road. They had a dance party to it on Halloween after trick or treating. He knows almost all the words.
3) Yey to Disney+
4) tgrimes he looks so sweet. Glad it seems to have gone well, what is the next step for him?

wineallthetime happy anniversary! MH and I don't really exchange much. This year our anniversary was spent with him out of town and B having a tummy bug. So it was super special
It seems most of the kids in aftercare are sweet to S. He is always telling me about his friend X who is in 3rd grade, etc. So hopefully that is true. I think I mentioned the other day that he has a sudden fear of being made fun of for things like what he's wearing etc. I asked him if that's happening at all or if anyone is being made fun of and he said no, so I hope he is telling the truth

I brought up our tote of winter things and posted 4 extra/too small items on facebook for $5 each. Sold 3 in 2 minutes! Love things leaving my house lol. Also sold my stroller last week. And I have a buyer for my infant carseat.

jewels, yes, parents are staying. I think extra cupcakes is a good idea. It's cat themed, so we will also be having a goldfish(crackers) bar so the kids can fill their treat bag with different flavors. Who knew goldfish came in so many different flavors!
Plus, there will be pizza.

I need a reminder to put an rsvp deadline on next year's invitation. I'm so afraid we will end up with not enough for any last minute yeses.

Lol. Nope. He said his left ear was grey and thick but his nose looked like normal snot.

jewels For now, we wait in the results from the lab to see if he had some type of bacteria that needs to be treated differently than with what we were already doing. We’ll do the ultrasound soon and check for stones in his salivary gland.

Wow. E had a kid in his class/ neighbor that was wild the first weeks. He has trouble controlling his motor impulses and now spends half the day in early childhood but he had thrown things and hits. He understands after that it isn't right and you can tell its an impulse control and not bullying. BUT E doesn't want to be around him. My story is just that some kids may have other issues with regard to impulse control and sensory issues that make it hard to interact. The more things get reported to teachers and staff the more a child is going to get help. So if you hear something shoot the teacher a message.

On the bus home the K have to sit together and they separate a lot of grades but going they can sit wherever

tgrimes, I don’t know why I thought you were talking about H getting his tubes sometime in the near future. I had no idea it was happening today, even though I’ve been reading along. I’m so glad it’s over and I really hope that they are able to give you some direction after testing the mucus.

B asked the other day if we'd heard of a song called "Old Town Road", LOL...apparently the older kids were singing it. He was so amused by this. We asked if he wanted to learn some of the words to sing along and he said no, ha.

That song is the clean up song at aftercare and he came home singing it the first week. He has also learned some dance moves, which is comical...he takes after his parents in the coordination department 😂

So! DH got home and promptly set up our Disney + account (Verizon people, it took him like 2 seconds on the Verizon site). We went through all the content and wow...you forget just how much is produced or owned by Disney. 

DH sat down with B and is introducing him to Star Wars, lol. I want to go through a make a watch-list of all the stuff I remember from growing up. There is a lot on there I'd forgotten about that I think my kids would really like.

Matthew told me he was sent to the principal for each incident. So the teacher is very aware.

Not really. He has a lead on a job with a different union, but he hasn't heard back yet. Unfortunately since he is union he pretty much has to wait until his union can assign him to a job.

So the gas company has said our building is safe, but we dont have gas. It's going to be 20 in the morning.

And I'm supposed to go into the office tomorrow.

I'm not happy about this. But I was really lazy didnt do much of shit today. I sent my boss a text, which she hasn't responded to. HR told me I could work from home again, but I'll feel bad if I'm the only one working from home again.

H discovered during dinner that both of her top front teeth are loose. She is so excited, these are our first loose teeth.
