Oh no quinn, no eating?!?!? My BP has been pretty low during pregnancy too. I think last appointment it was 110/68. I'm scared to cause I'm so numb I'm sure I'll bite something that shouldn't be bit or worse, choke. I've never been this numb before. I didn't even get that much done! I know he was just trying to be nice by making sure I won't feel anything but ugh this blows.

Does anyone know if Amazon will do price adjustments? I'm getting DH a Echo for his birthday which is the 18th. I'd love to get a deal on it on Prime Day, but I don't want it to be back ordered or something. Could I order now and see if the price goes down?

Anatomy scan went well this morning. Doctor said everything looks great from what he could see. No high risk diagnosis this time around. Still very much a girl.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm not 100% positive but I would think you could buy the echo now and if it goes on sale on prime day buy that one too and return the other? I would think they won't do a price adjustment since they only have a limited quantity on prime day for the sale price?

It's been a fucking peachy 24 hrs. Yesterday we had to take DD to urgent care because MILs terrorist dog attacked her. I'm all for trying to rehab abused rescue dogs but don't tell me he's mellowed and only protective of his toys then the fucker lunges at her while she's running around the living room because he's upset and there are no toys involved. I'm still seething. Then I found out BIL has pneumonia and he spent like 3 hrs playing with her on Monday. So over the in laws. Thank god this morning is the last morning having to see MIL. We refused to go back to their house so she drove the hour to my Aunts.

shibes, I'd be so pist about all of that. DS does not love my in-laws' dog, but they keep a VERY close watch on the dog when he's around. The dog is also incredibly well trained. My FIL could train dogs for a living, I'm pretty sure. And pneumonia ... come on man.

shibes Id be fuming. We have rescue dogs, granted we got all our as puppies. Unfortunately you never know how a dog will react or what will make it feel threatened. Our neighbors have a rescue they got at about a year old from an abuse situation and all they did to rehab the dog is leave it outside to bark its head off for hours so my child will never be around that dog for sure because who knows what will set it off.

I had my anatomy scan today. All looked good except for a marginal cord insertion... my MW didn't seem too concerned, she said that the only thing that might be affected is growth so I will have a growth US at 32 and 36 weeks. She said that she's only very rarely seen any issues though. Anyone have any experience with this?
I'm also transferring care to an OB that my MW recommended to (hopefully) do my VBAC. I love my MW so I'll miss seeing her every time, but I'll still see her for checks occasionally and she said she was going to try really hard to be able to attend the birth (they aren't supposed to d/t conflict of interest).

I just realized I never got my order from Motherhood Maternity. So I looked and it says it was delivered on 06/28. Um. WTF. I was home early that day and I didn't see anything... Unless H put it somewhere, I never got it. Ugh. I had assumed it was delayed in shipping or something. I am going to have to do a sweep for it when I get home and then call them. But it would be a noticeably sized package.

grumpycat laurensc927 quinn thatgolfb thanks guys. She's doing fine today- there was broken skin but nothing that needed stitches or further attention. Just have to watch for signs of infection and the dog will go to the vet today and again in 10 days for rabies testing. Both my husband and my MIL BF were sitting there- he blames my H for not stopping her running back and forth. I'm sorry- dude- do you not remember what your children were like as toddlers?! If he knew her actions were going to bother the dog than WTAF did he not say something or remove the dog from the room?! My DD is high energy- we'd been there the whole day before with no issue and her activity that morning was nothing different. Ugh- I'm so fucking pissed at them. My MIL didn't say shit while she was up here today. This is going to be a yearly fight whenever we fly home because I refuse to be in the same house with that dog. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

shibes they seriously are trying to blame it on toddler behavior! That's ridiculous, if your dog is reactive you take it out of the situation. It's not like you DD was hitting or pulling on the dog (which still wouldn't make it ok) but running around. Good luck it sounds like a fight is in your future. If it makes you feel any better my MIL told me I was being ridiculous when I talked to her about third hand smoke and how it would affect the baby. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Or, most likely, we receive so many packages it is in a pile somewhere. 😬😬😬

shibes bloody hell, I would be seething. Thank god DD is relatively ok. I would never let your DD (or DS) in the same room as that dog again. God, dog attacks are one of my top fears with kids.

Well, shit. We had our anatomy scan this morning. On the plus side, everything measured just right and he is adorable. Sadly, he has a hole in his heart (VSD, if I remember correctly). We have a follow-up and consult in a couple of weeks. So much for not being high risk. H and I were initially pretty devastated but I have had time to calm down and am moving forward with a positive attitude. The MFM said that if we had to pick something to be wrong, this would be it. It is common and often times fixes itself before birth or within the first year. If not, it is an easy fix that generally results in no lasting effects. He will likely still be a perfectly healthy, happy, strong boy just like his brother. My damn kids give me a run for my money right from the start. If there is a bonus, I will get to see a lot of his adorable face before he is born!
They also did a transvaginal ultrasound to check my cervix. It was long and didn't open with pressure so passed the competency test for now! Stay that way cervix! Hopefully the 17P injections keep doing their thing and keep this baby in as long as possible so his heart can work on healing.

laurensc927 yup 😑 I'm so over them at this point. Also +1 to having a MiL and mother who smoke. I post passive aggressive articles on FB all the time. Guess I need to add aggressive dogs to the list. beefinch the thing that breaks my heart the most is she loves animals so much. She turns three this morning and I know her long term memory and been leaps and bounds lately but I pray she doesn't remember this. I don't want that asshole dog making her afraid of other dogs. H is incredibly upset as well. I'm pretty sure he would actually tell his mother to fuck off at this point if she said anything about this again other than I'm sorry or How is DD doing. Or the dog is dead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

shibes, how did she react? My parents really old dog, nips at DS, in a warning way and NEVER touches the skin, but we know that means it's time for DS to back off, and he doesn't make anything of the nip. I know she had a bite though. Do you have any dogs you can trust to see how she react around them? You have a dog right? (If I remember rightly) *(Maybe unpopular opinion coming up)* I would expect that dog to put down. Especially if it's a rescue. Here in the U.K., if the dog has attacked a child it's put down. I love dogs, and I hate that thought, but I'm sorry it's attacked a child. I just don't trust dogs I don't know (I only trust my parents dogs and even then we watch the old boy like a hawk) and if that dogs attacked a 3 yr old when she wasn't doing anything to physically touch the dog then nothing is stopping it from doing it to a child younger, and thats a terrifying thought
