I made it to the DMV today (only three months after my license expired) since it was the 10 year renewal that I couldn't do online. Goodbye, picture of 21 year-old, skinny me. Hello, picture of a pregnant lady in her 30s. 😩 I picked up the kids early from school and took them to ChickFilA, so at least I drowned my sorrows in nuggets and lemonade. I need to get a new work id because it is not reading consistently... but I don't want to live with a picture of my bloated pregnant face.

Mine expires in October🙈 I need to check if I can do it online. Mine expires in October too. I HAVE to go renew in person because my health card is also old (I have this ancient never-expires card that the hospital is surely going to complain about) and I can't do that online. No choice but to go at 36+ weeks, probably swollen, probably miserable, and get photos taken. Gonna be attractive AF at that point.

I almost went to the store this morning, took a shower and everything, then decided at the last minute that I was too lazy. My husband high-fived me and said, "Why waste a day when you can hang out at home in a dress without a bra?" Then he handed me a chocolate bar he found and made me a cup of tea.
He gets pregnant women.

bethkate I wouldn't expect a man to know anything about a shower. If your aunt is so concerned why hasn't she talked to.you cousins and she would know it's under control. beefinch I hope they were delicious in the moment at least. He's a keeper misskilljoy! I had to work today to get payroll in but at least I got to leave early. Wanted to take the dogs for a walk but the pavements too hot. Gonna hit up a prenatal yoga class and hopefully take them out later. My Mil told me to be careful at the class, I told her it was prenatal as in specifically for preggos but she insisted I should take it easy. I don't know how I'm going to make it another 20 weeks with out screaming at her. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

laurensc927, the thing is, I think she did talk to my cousin, and she's expecting my dad to foot the bill for what they've planned. I have no idea why. This didn't come up at all for my bridal shower when my bridesmaids planned and paid for it. I'm not sure I'd be able to deal with your MIL either!

That friend of mine who did a 5K at 35wks pregnant, she just ran her first mile since giving birth. 3 weeks ago. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. How fast was she? I was running last pregnancy...I quit around 34 weeks. It was more walking than running then and I was really really slow. I had a terrible tear so didn't run for a while, but felt like I was still in decent shape. Three weeks seems too early to get back into running an entire mile. I don't remember her last race time. I do know she was personally disappointed by it and was considering doing one more race before the baby came. I know it's probably nbd if you've been active your whole pregnancy, but I'm still in awe.

Honestly AnnPerkins I can barely walk up the stairs without being out of breath at 22 weeks pregnant so your friend is literally a super mum

About to head to the fireworks. My MIL is watching the baby so we're going with just the older boys. Looking forward to a nice quiet evening. Stopping at Wendy's on the way.

In the car on our way home. DS is singing twinkle twinkle little star and saying good bye to all his imaginary friends lol. He's so excited to be going home. He kept saying "I want to go home!" all day today. He was a monster all day too until we put him the car to leave. Ahhh 2.5 year olds.

I can't imagine doing a 5K at 35 weeks unless it was really really slow... I attempted spin class with H today and my belly got in the way of my knees. Oops. Lol. I finished up on the elliptical.

I would let your aunt know she is invited as a guest and the shower planning is already in the works.

I feel like half of my randoms are really confessions.
My hair is always amazing when I'm pregnant, I would retake my DL pic in a heartbeat pregnant. A friend jumped in my live sale tonight just to tell me my hair looked amazing.
Running and I do not mix. Never have. I always think how wonderful it would be to just go running, but my knees do not cooperate and never have.

My god my dreams are so much weirder this time around.
Dreamt my parents were buying a new house, but it was like an amusement park they were buying and the way the house was set up is that loads of random rooms were dotted around the park, for some reason I was moving with them.
I got really upset that my room was dotted in the middle of nowhere on the park without a bathroom.
I actually woke myself up from crying.
What?? 😂

I despise running not pregnant so I'm certainly not doing it pregnant lol. My friend went for a run the morning she went into labor (and consistently throughout her pregnancy). She's a super hero. She's on here so just let me know if you want to chat about prego running with her.
We spent the night at my mom's and are finally going to be back at our house in a little bit. So excited to see our cats and my own bed lol.

I'm so jealous of pregnant runners. I had always intended to continue running as long as I could throughout pregnancy, and then the bleeding/spotting I had from weeks 6-11 derailed that. Now I'm just trying to keep walking regularly and try to head to the gym for the elliptical when I can.

I'm at my parents' house. It took us 11 hours even to get here, but it wasn't actually that bad of a drive.
Since last summer, they have installed a window AC unit in the room I use upstairs🙌 BUT, there are no bathrooms up there, so I had to feel around a steep stairway in the dark for my nightly pee break. Can't win them all.

Crappy day again.
So we know I've been having the weird fainting spells, but never actually fainting. Well this morning I did actually faint.
10am, we are over my nans house before we were going to pop into town (H, me and DS)
Had the funny turn again, so did my usual of getting a glass of water and sitting down and wait for the dizzy feeling to pass. My nan, H and DS were in the lounge, while I was in the kitchen sat down (they didn't know I was having an episode)
Next thing I know I'm on the floor on my side with my cup of water all over the floor. H is all up in my face going 'babe babe babe'
Came around really groggy and shaking, start crying on H as I was freaked out. DS was being so cute with me and was touching my hair going 'aww' Felt crappy for about 20 minutes after and then we went back home and I literally just stripped naked and laid on the bed with the fan on, I'm so hot all the bloody time.
Rang my GP and they called me in, they are taking bloods tomorrow morning. I then rang my midwife, as we have no idea how I actually landed when I fainted off the chair (I did hit my head but it's fine) and wanted to check DD is fine. She saw us right away also, DD's heartbeat is perfect, she just hasn't moved a lot today. Been told if I have any 'swamp crotch' or bleeding to call triage. Taking it easy for the rest of the day, H has just left for work. Would have been nice to have a nap but DS has refused to nap, so I'm laying on the sofa right now while he's reading his books.
Less than 18 weeks and counting

My kid woke up an absolute bear. She's being a toddler monster, ugh. I'll be trying to put her down for a morning nap at some point soon, then hopefully she'll take one in the late afternoon too. We're going to the local minor league baseball game tonight and planning to hopefully stay through the fireworks, but that will be determined by monster toddler.
I did sneak off to run a couple miles, so I feel like I'm ready to deal with crabby pants baby now.

At work. Starting my full time line this week. I will stay in it for as long as I can. It's a lot and it's already busy today. I just can't even function. I'm so tired.

I'm prenatal vitamin rich. My mom's doctor friend gave her 2 boxes of samples for me, 480 pills total. If only I was an elephant.
