No time change here in Arizona. Now I just have to remember what time zone I’m in.

We did ok with the time change. The boys were kind of off all day yesterday. J woke up early this morning as did Z, but Z put himself back to sleep. Hopefully they have a good day today. J is still complaining of tooth pain from all of the dental work he had on Friday. Poor buddy.

klw and goldenbird how are your lo’s? Better from the vaccinations? H seems to be doing good. Only had a low grade fever on Saturday, but I didn't give her anything and she didn't seem bothered by it.

I hate the time change, but I think we'll be all good by tomorrow. Everyone was up a bit early today, but not bad.

I don't think it's ears because his doctor checked them Friday before his shots and didn't say anything about them. He's been drooling like crazy so I really think it's teeth.

L did pretty well with the time change. He whined a little earlier than he normally does on Sunday morning, but went back to sleep and slept in until his usual time. His nap yesterday was kind of short, but he's been hit or miss with naps anyway. Plus he has a top molar coming in.
Trying to figure out if I should reschedule L's 2nd flu shot. I scheduled his shot for the afternoon of 11/27 (the day before Thanksgiving) before I knew that we'd be traveling to see my in-laws (about a 5 hour drive). We'd leave Wednesday afternoon/early evening after his shot. He did fine with the 1st one he got this year (and had no issues with the 1 he had last year). He was a little more fussy, but no more than how he is when he's teething. But I feel bad for making him get a flu shot and then traveling in a car for 5 hours plus being in a new place where I am sure his sleep will be terrible. I could schedule his shot for Monday of that week, but I still worry he might still feel bad on our trip since it's only a 2 day difference. I'd prefer not to postpone it at all so he can be protected as soon as possible, but that is another option I guess.

Any chance you can schedule it earlier than your original plan? I think a nurse told me that flu shot takes two weeks to really be in effect. The others here can correct me if I’m wrong. There is a chance he might just sleep after the flu shot, but it could go opposite and cause him to be fussy which would be a miserable drive. I’m not feeling really helpful here. I wish you luck either way!

It's just the one shot vs the 3 they get at the 15 month appt. Getting it Monday, he should be fine by Wednesday afternoon. How did he do with the first flu shot?

He got the first one on 10/23, so I think the earliest he could get the 2nd is 11/23 (which is a Sunday). He did pretty well with the first one. He slept fine that night but was maybe a little more cranky the next day. But that could have been his teeth as well. Yeah, I am leaning toward switching it to Monday to give him a couple of days to feel back to 100% before our trip. I’m kicking myself for not planning the first one better in October. He has his 15 month appointment on 11/20 and it’d be ideal to just do it then, but we have to wait 30 days between the two. So close!

sasam, minimum spacing is 28 days so he could get it a couple of days sooner. I wouldn't postpone knowing that he was fine with the first one.

My anxiety/depression is out of control again after everything we've been through with the boys over the last month. There is some stuff at work that isn't great as well and I have two huge things for work this month that I'm nervous about. I'm not sleeping well and exhausted.

DD1 is really trying hard to teach Haley some new games. The past 2 nights it has been hide and seek. DD1 goes somewhere and calls out Haley's name until she walks over to her. Then they both squeal and giggle.

One can’t help but smile at the cuteness.

We close on the new house on Thursday! I have stupid report cards to finish that go home on Friday and things still to pack, but it'll all get done, right?!
Also, Charlie finally realized that the bath is no longer traumatic tonight! He was back to splashing around like crazy and yelled at H when it was time to get out. Thank heavens! It was basically a 2 person job.

Charlie also loves peek-a-boo. But his favorite is finding your belly button and blowing raspberries on your tummy. I was changing this morning while he was on the bed, and he wouldn't let me get dressed because he kept doing it!
When they're not acting like little cave people, this a fun and adorable age.

We count 1-2-3 on our fingers and then tickle DS - when he wants you to do it he holds up one finger. It's so sweet.

DS is participating in a brain study at the university here. We did one several months ago - it's mostly watch a video and they record the baby's reactions. I'm interested to see what the topic is today.

DD is still not walking. She can take a few steps by herself, though. She’s starting to stand up on her own but is still very wobbly and falls to her butt a lot. I’m hoping she’ll catch on soon. I know we still have a few months until I really need to worry but I feel a little anxious about it.
