My in laws are keeping the kids tonight. I bought stuff to make bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese and some red wine. Not sure what's for dinner yet but at least I got the important things taken care of, right?

Lazy morning here. M-Th are our days to jump up and hit the ground running so it's nice to have one that's a bit slower-paced. B has school and I have a tennis lesson this afternoon, and once B gets home I need to take him to Target for a gift to take to a bday party tomorrow.

I’m dragging today. It’s raining and dreary outside so it’s not helping. We stayed up late watching our football game that went into double overtime. We won so it was worth it.

We’re supposed to be heading to my moms for the weekend after I get off work. We have to surprise my dad tomorrow at a church event where they will be honoring him and a few others. It will be nice, but I could have used a slow weekend at home while MH was here to get some stuff done.

We’re working in a new coworker, she is sooooo slow. It is crazy busy so this is annoying the **** out of me. She’s sitting around with her notepad and every step takes here three times the amount of time it should take, come on woman!

Oh Friday, I'm so happy you are here! I'm at work and then tonight we have a Halloween party at C's school. They have a DJ, photobooth, trick or treating, ect so the kids are sure to have so much fun!

I designated today bring your kid to work day for me. Lol. She can’t go back to school yet since she’s not 24 hour fever free. And I have 2 seasonal employees who’s last day is tomorrow so I have to get all their paperwork in order to out process them.

Sierra woke up happy and well rested this morning. No fever and no seizures. So hopefully it was just some weird short illness. She’s got no other symptoms.

I’m working from home today and dipped out to have lunch with C at school. Some parents legit come every day and he’s been wondering why I can’t. We discuss but I figure if I’m home and can take the time I will. I hope he is happily surprised.

My mom starts soft foods today so fingers crossed all goes well.

Charlee is 9 months now! Finally crawling lol. She is a trip though, such a different personality than Layla had. Super sweet but super feisty. She's going as a pineapple for halloween... sweet on the inside, prickly on the outside.

Completely agree. This is next-level weird. Nothing wrong with doing it occasionally. I joined Maddie for lunch maybe 2-4 times last year, but yeah, I've got things to do and it's time for her to be with her friends. I surprised her yesterday for lunch for her birthday and she was thrilled, but of course it would not be special if I did that everyday.

M has asked us to go to for lunch, too. MH went at the beginning of school. I said I was going to go one day, but haven’t yet. He stopped asking about it lately, so maybe I’m off the hook?

Last night M was thrilled to get her ears pierced. The guy did a good job and she didn't make a peep. For now she's excited about the cleaning regimen but we'll see how long that lasts. She chose McDonald's for her special birthday dinner. Whatever floats your boat, kid. She had a really good day though and was very thankful for all we did.

Tonight I'm ditching out of work early so I can catch all 3 TKD classes tonight. I've been annoyed with the instruction this week. I've barely been sweating in class and I hope for a good workout. The girls will attend the first class with me then practice with their partner for the tournament tomorrow.
