On the shuttle to work. School is going really well. I have a professional email to write about a difficult subject for my paper this week. I’ve been trying to figure out what to write about. I have to be thoughtful because my journal entry for this week has to tie back to it.

Can I still come here??
Work has been nutty but I took the day off to hang with Colin since school is closed. It's raining so we're cuddled up on the couch for now but I think we'll hit the trampoline park later.
DH is with his Mom today. His Dad wound up in the ICU last night and no one knows yet what's going on. I'm nervous, he's been looking exhausted lately. I'm also really glad DH and Col went with him to MD this past weekend, I know it meant a lot to him.

Good morning! I’m all packed up, drinking coffee and waiting to go through customs when they call are group. School is out today so when we arrive home the kids will be there. I’m hoping we can time it right so it’s not right before H naps.

Morning. School day for both girls. I’m on the hunt for curtains after I drop S off. So far I’ve had a really difficult time finding what’s in my head. This afternoon the girls have dance class and then my dad and step mom are coming over because they leave for AZ tomorrow morning.

Morning friends!
I’ve been driving the last few days to work and today I’m on the bus. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss the relaxing commute with the bus, I read the news, emails, catch up here, watch a show etc. Speaking of watching shows, I’m into Jack Ryan now on Prime and oh my gawd, it’s intense.

Morning!
B had speech bright and early, now he's about to head off to school. Chilly here today (compared to what it's been)--highs in the 60s and very grey. I think fall is here to stay.
My sister and nephew are visiting this weekend, so I need to start the tidying-up-for-guests process and dig out some of the baby stuff I've put up for him to use. Cannot wait to see them, it's been since May!

So it's the Jewish holiday Yum Kippur today. I am very very not religious (I am typing this from work) but for some reason the only thing I do every year is fast for Yum Kippur. So I am sitting at my desk, starving, rethinking why I chose to do that.
Also, I am in charge of the holiday party and before I realized what today was, I set up to go there at lunch time to finalize everything. It's a really good restaurant and that's going to be super hard.
