Good morning!!! I’m up after a whole 4 hours of sleep. It took me forever to fall asleep even with a sleeping pill. They just hooked up the pitocin so things are about to get real. Dh will be here in a couple of hours after he gets the kids off to school.
We didn’t tell N this was happening. I told her at bedtime that I had a strong feeling today was the day, but i didn’t want her to be anxious and worry before bed. So Dh will tell her when she wakes up. Hoping this induction goes quicker and baby will be here before school is out so they can come in tonight.
I’ll update when I can!!

Grey and rainy here, which we need so I’m not complaining. But my plans to get pumpkins and mums while the kids are at school will probably not work. So housework it is!

Just checked FB. A girl I went to HS with had been posting all day yesterday that her daughter was being induced. Baby was born yesterday. Name: Hae.vyn Is this Haven or Heaven? This is my face.  |

mwhip I’d say haven. There’s a girl I know who has 2 daughters. Their names are nev.aeh and hai.vyn. Which is basically the same thing. Not a fan.

Morning. H has PJ day at school today. I never updated about it but conferences went really well yesterday. Her teacher said she’s a great listener, helper and student. She scored really high on the testing they did a few weeks ago. I’m a proud mama. MIL is going to take S to the library so I’ll have a little bit of time to myself later this morning.

I’m on my way to STL. S has an appointment with her Neurologist. We usually go up and stay at my parents but not this time because we have been so busy and had too much going on, it’s just a day trip. So 3 hours up there, probably 1 hour there, then 3 hours home. It’s gonna be a long day! Then tomorrow is her monthly infusion. So that will make for another long day!

Morning - k and I slept in until 8 (after not sleeping most of the night) and mh didn't get everyone out the door til almost 9...a little nervous about how I'll manage when he goes back to work on Thursday 😬. I have high hopes to get a lot done today, but probably should temper my enthusiasm so I'm not too disappointed when I only get laundry done. I need to weed out our kid book collection, bit have the hardest time with that for some reason.

Yay for baby day, slenle. I think Sophie is such a cute name but it still has a sophistication to it. And I do love that it came out of the blue. lfig, safe trip! NMS, mwhip. I think it’s also pronounced Haven. We had Josie‘s conferences last night. Her teacher is wonderful. She’s older, so I’m really hoping she doesn’t retire before Charlie can have her. All good things — I got to see some very cute writing samples, and take a look at the leveled reading material she’s been working on. Her teacher said after she has conferences with everyone this week, she’ll begin to send home the consumables so the kids can practice at home. |

Work is slow. I’m not mad at it.
I forgot to mention that M2 started crying yesterday at drop off. He is not a drop off crying kind of kid, so it threw me for a loop. I just hurried out once he started. I almost think it’s because they have started working on potty training with him. He had two accidents last Thursday and Friday, so maybe he doesn’t like it. I need to get in gear to work with him at home. Our weekends are pretty busy for the next couple of weeks, so I’m not sure how to go about it like I did with M.

If one more person calls Cadence, Candice! Check the location of the N people!! I always say it's fine, but really I find it annoying. It's really annoying when people at aftercare call her that. Uh, please know my child's name if you will be watching her. Cadence says she has stopped correcting them and now some of them call her Candy. 🤨 She's not a stripper!

C has a school skating night at the roller rink, so that should be fun. I'm glad MH said he'll be home in time so I don't have to take all the kids by myself.

lfig I know it's been awhile, but how are you doing after your reflux surgeries? Is it considerably better? I've really been struggling with it a lot since my last sinus infection and now my Dr wants to take me off the omeprazole. It's the only meds that work for me, so I keep putting it off.

Oh so my sister asked yesterday if I'd be offended if she didn't come this weekend since she's already coming up in early November for my dad's 70th. Win win! It's not like k is very exciting when she's only alert for 2 hours a day max. Now my mom is going to come over this weekend and babysit the big kids while we go a bday party with k for a friend's wife.

lfig I know it's been awhile, but how are you doing after your reflux surgeries? Is it considerably better? I've really been struggling with it a lot since my last sinus infection and now my Dr wants to take me off the omeprazole. It's the only meds that work for me, so I keep putting it off. Pretty good for the most part. I still have to take omeprazole every day (also the only med that has ever worked for me). But it sure beats the heck out of puking all the time! I’m sure if I cut the soda and ate better I would probably not have to continue to take it. But what can I say....I love my soda! And crappy food 🤷♀️. |

I wouldn’t like that either. I’ve had a few people, including an after school teach call M Maximum/Maximus. Not sure why they added letters to the end of his name. Doesn’t bother me a whole lot. People tend to call me Meredith/Miranda and I always know they are talking to me and never correct them. It’s usually someone that I don’t interact with on a daily, so I’m breezy. 🤷🏽♀️ |
