I was with OG team yesterday so today will be my first day working with Mi since news broke so it will be awkward. I also still need to finish this week’s school work since we will be gone this weekend. I hoping today goes by fast because I took tomorrow off to make up for not taking Thursday or Friday off last week.

Good morning! Just dropped Josie at school, and will be taking Charlie in a half an hour, then I volunteered to work the book fair at school.
I’m hoping I have some time to run out and get a manicure before pick up.

Good morning. Today is my 9 year anniversary. I’m not sure if we are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate or waiting till Friday. Both girls have school this morning and I am probably going to hang at home while S is gone.

Morning! Our weather is all over the place (like I think many other areas), which is giving me a headache. However, fall weather is coming and I'm here for it! Bring on all the sweaters! This is me, minus the headache! Yesterday it was 90, today 78 tomorrow in the 60s with our lows finally getting into the 40s. I'm so ready for sweaters and sweatshirts! Hope your head feels better soon! |

Busy day today, school run, a visit to bike repair shop, both 2x to bring and pick back up, dentist appointment this afternoon, painter who is coming over to make us a quote, groceries, I cooked two huge batches of soup, cleaned the kitchen, both bathrooms & ds brought home a play date. It’s not even three and I’m beat!

I have a State of the Schools luncheon to attend today. Super fun. Other than that I'm just trying to get all my stuff done for court next week so my coworker doesn't have to do it.

National Walk to School Day. There was a big group meeting up at the neighborhood library and then walking the rest of the way to school together. It was apparently on the news. I now look like a sweaty mess and get to sit in it all day. Glad I took that shower and dried my hair.  Cadence met one of her classmates right when they got there and it was fun to hear their conversation as we walked to school. Who knew you could start with "oodles of poodles" and end with "lava proof shoes and glitter makeup". It made for an interesting morning. lol |

The SLP is out sick today so our session was cancelled 🙌🏻 (FFWC: I hate going to speech)
I had dinner out at the beach last night with some friends from our time in Kansas. It has been over 5 years since we’d seen each other, so it was nice to catch up.
B has school and golf this afternoon but otherwise not much going on. I should probably order Halloween costumes today, esp since the one I picked out for C has gone on sale.

Morning!
Yesterday was a success - S charmed the pants off of everyone here, and we ran out mid afternoon for an ice cream cone so he had the best day ever.
Add us to the wacky weather. Today is supposed to reach a high of 93 degrees! It's usually 60s here, maybe 70's, this time of year.
They did a big walk to school thing here too, but we did not get out of the house early enough to participate, so S was dropped off. Maybe next year.

The weather has been weird here too. Unseasonable cold for this time of year. It's making my skin go crazy. I had to bust out prescription cream because my face has been so dry it's been flaking. |

Morning! N has a scheduled 2 hour late start today so I took the kids out for breakfast. Now we’re back home with a half hour before the bus comes.
The kids are getting excited for baby but N almost broke my heart the other night. As I was putting her to bed, she started crying and said she is scared for baby to come because she will miss me and then I will only give my attention to the baby and won’t have time for her and H. So sad. 😢 I assured her that isn’t true so now I might be trying to suck up with donuts and hot chocolate for breakfast.

Happy birthday lahdeedah! Any fun plans? inthekitty thanks for asking; It’s sometimes hard for me to see the day-to-day progress but I think we are making it. My mom noticed he was much clearer than when she saw him last (in July). He’s pretty much gotten caught up on L so we are moving to TH next. Fun fun 🤪 |
