Thanks everyone! Happy Anniversary! trtlcrzyI originally planned to go get a pedicure or facial so I need to figure out if I still want to go. I think I’m going to the movies to see J.Lo’s Hustler movie, too. Nothing too exciting. Just glad to have the day off.

We all came home with a clean bill of health from the dentist, woohoo! Oh and ds’ tooth is loose. Hold me please while I go cry myself to sleep, why can’t they stay little forever 😭😭😭.

Anyone have experience with Disney brand costumes/sizing? I’m looking at the size chart and C *should* be a 4. The next size up is 5/6 and those measurements seem pretty large, but a reviewer recommended sizing up bc the dress runs small. Argh. No local store to try on. Why is this never easy? tgrimes klong11 chrisy01 (trying to think of kids who are into Disney...)

The cinderella dress I bought her was huge. What size does C currently wear? If you remind me later, I can look at the sizing of all of her costumes when I get home.

I got Cass Mary Poppins (big fluffy dress) and Maddie Sally (slim dress with leggings) and even with the different styles the size 8s were just right when I was expecting it to be a little bit big. Had I known I would have went with the next size up because I like room to grow (they will use these for dress-up for a while).

She’s been in 4’s for awhile, starting to move into 5s In a couple brands (mostly for length).

Thanks inthekitty and klong11. I’m kind of thinking err on the larger side, esp if you think they run a bit small, and bc I would like to use it for dress-up.

Hi! I’m off today, tried to mow the grass but the belt is jacked up. So now I’m watching real housewives and getting ready to take the dog to the vet.

How are your wrists doing, lfig? I think I remember you saying that they kicked up a lot after S was born? And I feel like I remember others complaining of pregnancy induced tendinitis, too. Lately the kids want to be carried all the time and I am fairly certain I have started developing tennis elbow as a result.

Hump day. I took N in bc I had a 2 week pp appointment..k cried half the drive until I could get the pacifier in her mouth. Hope she learns to love the car! Then they didn't have my appt on the schedule, prob bc they cancel visits after delivery, but since I knew my induction, they had me schedule this one..but they fit me in thankfully and my doctor was impressed with how chill we were, and it was clear it wasn't my first baby. I remember how big of an ordeal my 6 week appt was with j.
We had a deck table and some other stuff arrive from my parents house. They forgot to send the media console, so we had taken the tv apart..and now need to figure out how to get it here. I'm pretty excited to get rid of our pottery Barn outlet one from 2007 that I got for $35. Definitely have gotten my money's worth with that piece!

Lately the kids want to be carried all the time and I am fairly certain I have started developing tennis elbow as a result. They are doing pretty good. I still have some numbness in my middle finger, and the dexterity in my thumbs is a bit rough still, but mostly fully functional and the pain is gone. They said it could take up to 3 months to get totally back to normal. After S was born is when I started having trouble with them. Was diagnosed with tendinitis, then the trouble came and went some. Eventually it quit going away and hurt all the time. More tests lead to the carpal tunnel diagnosis....then finally surgery. I should have done it years ago, but put it off because S has so many needs I didn’t feel like I could/should do anything for myself. Until I couldn’t take it anymore.

Fwp ahead. Dh and I have a party on Saturday, we originally booked a hotel so that we didn’t have to take a train home in the middle of the night, but cancelled because we’re spending money like it’s water and need to be a little bit more frugal. We agreed to head to the city mid day & have a date night before the party. Two of dh’s friend (whom I like) just invites them selves to our dinner date. I’m bummed, I was looking forward to just the two of us outside the house.

The state of the schools luncheon wasn't as boring this year. They set it up differently and I think everyone enjoyed the new approach. They asked all 3 superintendents that attended specific questions ranging from campus safety, school accountability and how our new house bill that passed in May affected their district. Very informative, even though M doesn't attend these school districts.

It’s 93 here right now (and I just spent 30 minutes waiting outside in it for the bus 🥵) We’re supposed to be in the high 60s/70s starting this wknd and I cannot wait.

I told myself that I was going to walk Matthew to and from the bus stop each day. Because our driveway is about 3/4 of a mile long. And then the temperatures jumped up! So I'll start next week with that.. lol.

Add me in to the cooler temps starting next week. It’s will still be mid to low 80s, but hey, it won’t be in the 90s. Bring on the cooler temps.
I also need to look at what I have for the boys for fall/winter now.

Normally I can check an app to keep track of the school bus, but I guess the driver was out today so it was a different bus. It finally showed up about 25 minutes late :/
