I do not like Mary's dress.
It reminds me of that bird dress Letizia wore.

Mary's dress is WAY better than Letizia's!
I also LOVE Maxima's huge smile. She looks like she genuinely has a good time.

Meghan looks stunning today, that's possibly the best she's looked for a long time. Love everything about the outfit, hair, makeup.... just perfection
I didn't even notice what Harry was wearing

I think Mary pulled off what Letizia was trying to do. I like Mary's dress, she looks fantastic as always

That red outfit is basically the first outfit Iβve seen MM in and liked. It fits properly, itβs a good color on her, and everything about it is flattering. Still with the hair though. If you constantly have to touch it, just pull it back. I donβt care how cute it is in a few photos, itβs distracting to see her constantly touching it. And my mind is convinced itβs probably covered in strawberry jam, since thatβs the life Iβm currently living with DD. Is she touching it? I also just assumed that it is a nerve thing. I should know I touch my hair constantly Yes, she was constantly touching it. I have the same nervous fidgety thing. When I am in occasions where it might be a problem, I try to avoid the issue by removing the item I play with. When I present to our board, I pull my hair back. I don't wear my rings. Necklaces have to be short so I don't mess with it.

The press was all over her for messing/twirling with her hair in the 3rd pic down, I think it was a Remembrance Day event. Sheβs gotten a lot better about it over the years.

www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/news/article.cfm?c_id=6&objectid=12278514I have sympathy for her in that the tabloid press are brutal, no question, but life as a royal is a completely different world and I felt from the get-go like she took it on as some kind of acting role. That she could play the part of princess, all the while keeping up her celebrity lifestyle of private jets, lavish holidays and designer outfits. Why was her Dad and half-sister not briefed and shooshed before they could go feral and ignite the flames of a tabloid takedown? Why did Harry not offer her some kind of initiation into British life: the cultural differences, less extravagance on display, less prima donna behaviour, less celebrity, more strong and stoic. What are the royals famous for? 'Never complain, never explain'. When you have a new mother with an army of nannies, chefs and staff at her disposal, living in the grounds of Windsor Castle, complaining to others that being a new mum is tough (it is a bit) well, I mean come on. Try telling that to a solo mum on a benefit with no staff and no castle - that's tough. Yes the press have given them a bad rap - but how much of it did they walk right into themselves? And why should you expect 100 per cent positive press? Who gets that?! And as for the line from Meghan that there's no tabloid press in America... hello? TMZ, US Weekly, the National Enquirer supermarket tabloid - the list goes on. Harry's been changed by this relationship: as he was busy falling in love with her, the British public were busy falling out of love with him. He got more serious, more intense, more judgy - lecturing people on climate change while taking private jets - falling out with his brother, suing the press, while at the same time talking to TV about how hard royal life is?

Necklaces have to be short so I don't mess with it. So I keep going back and forth of responding outside of posting pictures of Kate doing the same thing, but I am going to say it simple again in that women touch their hair and for a Bi-racial woman just pulling it back is not that easy, ask my daughter who always has flyaways no matter how smooth it was in the morning. Yes I know that you are talking about the pieces that she has coming out of the bun she could pull back, but why should she have to.

This is a load of shit. How was she supposed to silence her fame-hungry relatives? Buy them off? I doubt it would work. Being a new mom is hard. Full stop. Yes, help makes it slightly easier, but it's still hard.

Yep. Catherine's gotten a lot of flack for it over the years. I just don't understand any of them deliberately wearing a style that they can't keep their hands out of.

But the falling out is part of the look. Not everything needs to be pinned and sprayed into submission. Especially as a mother of a daughter with bi-racial hair bobby pins just don't workΒ She pulled off similar looks on Suits frequently. Again, I like the messiness of it, but the huge chunks falling out are a no from me.

and plus also she knew not to play with her hair during scenes. so now people want her to act a part?
Maybe again because I do it all the time i don't get distracted by people touching their hair

I constantly play with my hair and if I'm wearing earrings I can't keep my hands off them.

You cannot compare being on set with the opportunity to be "fixed", or regroomed between takes with being out and about all day. It's just not the same.

I just don't like it. I would have either a) figured out a way to make it stay pulled back or b) worn a different style. I've definitely seen her not on set with a messy bun that wasn't so messy. Like her wedding day--not a wedding day hairstyle for me, but would have been fine for this occasion.

I don't mind her "messy hair". Mine is "messy" 99.9% of the time. I think she looks great all around today (or whenever that photo was taken).

Do bobby pins hold anyone's hair? My hair laughs at them as they slide, slide, slippety side right off my head. I have baby-fine, straight hair.

Touching her hair is just a tic. I fiddle with my jewelry constantly. It's something for my hands to do.
