Does anyone know of a good cream or oil for scar reduction? K has scars on her chin from the surgery so I figured I could start using something to try to help it. Bio Oil is great for scars but I don't know about using it on someone so young. Maybe Mederma? Sweet almond oil and vitamin e oil are also good, though again I don't know about use on a baby. Could you ask the drs or nurses for some recommendations?

I love Miss Saigon, but I get it. Too bad I don't live closer and I'd buy the tickets from you. Maybe y'all could just go out to dinner instead? Bui Doi would absolutely ruin me. Going out to dinner instead would be fun normally but I have GD so eating at restaurants for the next two months interests me not at all. lol How did I not know you had GD? Where have I been?

I dont think I said, it was only recently diagnosed. It's a bummer but not the end of the world.

I don't know if it's worth doing anything until her next surgery since they have to reopen them to take the distractors out.

1 diarrhea after the 4th dose. I’m not sure that’s all of it though so we are keeping on. He’s being really good about drinking the 8oz though.

I have a call into the doctor... but I am allowed to feed him solid food again after the clear BM, right? He had a clear BM after his nap and kept asking me for food. Poor thing was so hungry so I cooked him some eggs.

It was a lot based on what he was doing previously... I would have thought it would be more after being stuck for 10 days though. He’s acting more like his energetic self though so that’s promising. Doc called back and said he could eat... and to just monitor his BMs tomorrow and through the weekend.

Have I ever told y’all how much I hate packing? I’m with you. I have to pack for 3 people and I haven’t started yet. But I have so much laundry to do and I have to do that first and I hate folding laundry so I’m really procrastinating over here.

But at least my mother in law can come back to my house if I forgot something. MH will pack in less than 5 min right before we leave the house. Meanwhile, I made lists of what everyone needed and am grabbing things here and there. I didn’t want to put my shirts and dresses in the suitcase yet since the ships don’t have irons.

I think H is getting an ear infection, because of course he is. His canal is red and he keeps sticking his finger in it. It doesn’t look like his eardrum is bulging yet though.
Sorry grandma.

I’ve tried to wean her off but even just at 1/2 tbsp she gets backed up. Apparently some kids just have to be on it long term.

Does anyone know of a good cream or oil for scar reduction? K has scars on her chin from the surgery so I figured I could start using something to try to help it. The surgery clinic said people swear by all sorts of creams but it doesn't really make a difference. We were recommended to just massage and keep moisturized. We were told we could use vitamin E oil of we wanted. I'll see if I still have my scar info sheet they gave me. M's are fading but he will definitely have multiple.

PSA - simple green cleaner will strip the paint right off your front door! WTF! We had a frog living in my wreath and he pooped on the door so I was just trying to clean it off and now I’m going to have to repaint the front door.
