PSA - simple green cleaner will strip the paint right off your front door! WTF! We had a frog living in my wreath and he pooped on the door so I was just trying to clean it off and now I’m going to have to repaint the front door. Yikes!

Threenager tantrums are quite the spectacle to behold. We're having "a morning" over here.

Does anyone know of a good cream or oil for scar reduction? K has scars on her chin from the surgery so I figured I could start using something to try to help it. The surgery clinic said people swear by all sorts of creams but it doesn't really make a difference. We were recommended to just massage and keep moisturized. We were told we could use vitamin E oil of we wanted. I'll see if I still have my scar info sheet they gave me. M's are fading but he will definitely have multiple. Thank you! It's obviously not the end of the world but if there's anything I can do, I might as well try it.

Apparently I got to miss the tantrum today. C was fun and happy for me. He is losing his shit with H right now though.

Fuck! O is vomiting and having diarrhea again! Paging tgrimes - O had normal BMs yesterday and now we are back to square 1. Of course it’s Sunday so I can’t call the ped. I’m thinking he’s backed up again bc it’s the same symptoms as when he was before? Should I do the miralax and clear liquids again? I don’t know what to do 😩 Update - I called the nurses line and they said not to do the cleanse and the miralax might be too strong. Which I would believe except for the vomiting and not being able to control his diarrhea again. We have a follow up Monday so hopefully we can come up w a plan then.

I'm sorry cookswithwine. Hopefully they can figure something out ASAP and get him better.

cookswithwine sorry, I didn’t see this earlier. I’d keep doing miralax at 1tbsp a day. M’s vomiting ended up being reflux. Maybe his is similar? It’d probably worth an appt with a GI.

cookswithwine Just to add to my previous comment, my pediatric GI said the majority of consistent vomiting in children is usually reflux. They can run some other tests but an obstruction usually shows up on an X-ray. M had to do an upper GI and everything was normal. Our next step if the reflux meds didn’t work was an endoscopy. If I can’t get her off the meds by the end of February, we’ll have to do one. I’d ask for a referral for a GI and keep the miralax going. Keep track of what he’s eating and when he vomits. That way you already have it when you go.
