My boss's are gone so I'm watching the last episode of The Handmaid's Tale. Don't mind me coworkers, I'm just crying at my desk over here. This season tested me, but I liked the last episode. Overall I really enjoy the show even if it can be slow at times. I couldn't stop watching! I started it a couple of weeks ago. |

Hi hi - I've been lurking the politics board with the testimony this morning. Otherwise another low-key day. Yesterday I sorted maternity clothes and am excited to ship a bunch to my cousin, good riddance!
J's best friend from Pre-K invited him to buddy day at his taekwondo studio Saturday morning and will keep him for most of the day, which is super sweet.

kim22 I hope C gets some rest and you are able to go home today! Do you need anything? Not sure which hospital you are in but you are probably not too far from me... That’s so nice of you, thanks! We are good. If he is good until 4, we are suppose to be discharged then. DH came back this morning after he got the others to school. C was just able to go to the playroom for a bit and I’m hoping he will fall asleep soon before his last treatment. C figured out how to take the side down on the crib so good thing we are leaving. |

We are having a little fall party next weekend and I'm so excited as I look at all the decorations and delicious food! M makes me drive around the neighborhood after we pick up H now. Just in case anyone has their Halloween decorations out. So far, we've only seen 3 houses with Halloween decor. |

The kids and I are going to make them tomorrow afternoon. I’ll pass it along to you if it works! ETA: Actually, I’ll just post it here in case anybody wants it. Finally checking in today. Early this morning I was consumed with the hearing and mostly on the politics board lurking. I watched for 30 minutes and couldn’t do anymore watching cuz I was yelling at the TV.
Went to a closing sale at a furniture store that most things were already sold. Then spent wayyyyy too much time and money at the Dillard’s sale, but I got my mom a birthday gift, a few Christmas gifts for family, and a few things for myself since my birthday is coming up.
I’m currently at the coin laundry waiting on my load to finish washing. Our washer officially tanked on us, so I’m waiting on the part come in so it can be fixed. I need to call a guy to see how much he would charge us to put it in before we try ourselves. I don’t want to have to deal with it.

I’m the worst about exploring random neighborhoods and B is always like, “are we done looking at cute houses yet?!” He has no sense of whimsy 🤷🏻♀️ |

I'm a really good parent and missed H's dentist appt yesterday. Technically, MH was supposed to take him and I told him about it last week and over the weekend. Whoops. So I was looking at all of our appts coming up and scheduled their well visits. I have 7 appts in the next 2 months...

MH is leaving with the football team tonight to go to an out of town game. I’ll be solo tonight, tomorrow night, and all day Saturday. Pray for me.
This should seem like nothing after being solo with them for the first 4 months of this year, but I think I have ptsd from it. Ha.

Mh actually figured out how to use his calendar on his phone when we scheduled all the baby well visits, plus big kids flu shots and well visits. Mh gets his first turn taking the kids to the dentist next week, I'm so excited not to go! Also Lord help j if he doesn't cooperate like normal, mh will have zero chill. |

Cadence got in trouble at aftercare. Her and a boy(you'll recall him from the butt showing incident 2 years ago, not last year but the one before) were caught giving each other a kiss on the lips. I knew who it was as soon as the teacher said 'kiss'. He even came up and hugged me, no shame in his game. 🤦
So, I guess she has at least 1 friend in after care. 😂
I told her no more kissing. Handshakes and hugs for friends, kisses for mommy and daddy.

Today was the boys last day at the sitters. They're excited to be home with me and I'm optimistic for this new normal. I can do it!

We got home just after 5. The super tired just hit me. I had emailed T’s teacher about C being in the hospital because I had to change his pick up arrangements. I asked T if he had homework and he said “everyone else does but not me because if your brother is in the hospital, you don’t have to do homework.”
C is finishing a treatment then hopefully we will get some sleep. I’m going to try to go to work tomorrow and DH is staying with him. School is closed Monday so at least he doesn’t have to go to the sitter again until Tuesday. Since I’m technically not allowed to call out of work for my kid being in the hospital, I have 6 pages of paperwork to fill out to ask for approval. That is ridiculous.

lahdeedah my H is leaving tomorrow to drive to Virginia for work. He packed his bag for an entire week. Evie is staying with MIL tomorrow, so I get 1 night all to myself! I'm way excited about that!

I took the day off and truly did nothing but tv and sleep. I'm doing a garage sale on Saturday with the neighborhood. Things are mostly priced for last year. I just need to put it out and get cash. MH is going to a hockey game tomorrow evening so I'm solo prepping. We really need a date night!
