I'm winning so far today. First, I went to the DMV and because I got in line from home, I was able to skip the long line that wrapped around the back of the building. We're talking at least 150 people just waiting to be let in to wait in yet another line. I was in and out in 20 minutes!
Came home and got both girls down for a nap and spent the rest of the morning/early afternoon reading while DH and DS played.
I would like more days like this, please.

Stopping in to say hi! Such a busy day. Woke up early to go to Orange Theory, then grabbed some groceries and headed over to the inlaws for a visit. B was kind of a terror most of the time. Came home for lunch, now B and H are napping and I'm making my *famous* pickle pasta salad for a BBQ at my parents' tonight.
Happy Canada Day everyone!

I'm alone with the toddler this weekend, who has been hanging with Pizzaslut s son. Hopefully bedtime goes better or else I will put the crib front back on

lemon200 Logan. I usually like the X-men movies but I'm having trouble getting into it. H was called into work so I'm solo tonight. I'm going to try to find something to watch but can't decide.

Last night, E stayed with my mom. So I decided to try out the crib with H. It was miraculous. I put her down in the crib wide awake and 2 mins later, asleep. Until 8a. Witchcraft.

We're at my parents and Ethan has been sleeping in the pack n play. He crawled out of it tonight. Luckily H was in the room next to him but E can also turn door knobs (not handles, actual knives but could do handles too). So not only did he climb out but opened the door and walked out.I hope the idea of crawling out of his crib at home doesn't re-enter his mind.

DS and I were going to walk to the park and pay the admission to see the fireworks but decided to stay out and hang with our neighbors, since they said we could see them from our yard. It was a great time and we met some more people in our neighborhood! It was a great night.
Now I'm grilling brats at midnight. Because 'Murica.

I drank my face off lastnight. We grilled hotdogs at 2am and I think I might still be a little buzzed?
Just waiting for our friends to wake up and come over so we can do breakfast and maybe swim. It's beautiful out today and last night ended up being really nice too!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I actually slept in today! H got M out of his crib and I'm hiding in the bathroom to get a few moments of quiet. Chill morning and then we're going to BIL's house after nap to see SIL's family grim Sweden that haven't been to the US in 15 years. Should be a fun day.

H handled most of the wake ups last night because I started bawling around 11:45. J slept from 8:30-11 and then was waking up every 10 minutes until about midnight. Finally H "yelled" (spoke sternly?) to him and he laid down until 5. H went in and got him back down until 6. Then I pulled him in bed and he talked for about 30 minutes before he wanted down. I just don't understand what keeps waking him up. Is it because of the separation anxiety? His teeth? He'll go right back down if we are in the room near him.

Oh and my cold is getting worse thanks to the lack of sleep. My ear is killing me so I'll be trying to find a minute clinic today. I need this cleared up by Friday. DNW to fly with ear pain.

I remember when s1 was younger there was a small period of time if he was awake he'd freak if we weren't in there with him. I can't remember what age but it was when he was still in the crib so younger than 2. We transitioned him right around 2. But it was always motn.

Ethan climbed out (almost) a second time. I was going to get him up for the day and he was in the middle of doing it. If this kid goes home climbing out, I might cry.

Sounds like everyone is having a great weekend. We have our bbq today. I'm excited. My parents invited their friends who are bringing their grandsons. S1 is going to be stoked to have kids to play with.

We transitioned Isaac right around this time because he was trying (unsuccessfully) to climb out. Ethan not being contained is going to add to Isaacs anxiety
