We hit up 2 parks this morning. It’s pretty hot. I have a board meeting this afternoon and will be leaving a bit earlier than I need to because H is a whiny mess today.

We are almost home. I need to grocery shop for the week and make sure we are ready for work and school. M is going to work with mh, so it will just be me and M2 this afternoon. I may take him to shop for a few things if I feel up for it.

I’m beat. The weekend was full of fun, but for an introvert it just sucked the live out of me. I need my downtime!

Btw, are you in for a crazy story? Around 10 months ago my husband’s bike was stolen, a handmade, bright red retro bike with two kid seats on it. So today we walk the whole 100yards to my parent’s house and low and behold across the street from their house is the bike, seats and everything! Raced home for the keys and they fit! We asked neighbors if they’d seen anything, if they knew who put the bike there, but nobody knew, so we took the bike home. We have our suspicions, but I guess we’ll never really find out the truth.
TLDR; we’ve found dh’s stolen bike back!

This could have been a description of Sinny. Labs looked good but he was clearly declining. Our best guess is still that cancer was hiding out somewhere.

Wow that’s crazy nam2013! So your ‘suspicion’...do you think it’s someone you know? Do you think they left the bike there for you to find (knowing it was near both your and your parents’ homes?)—like maybe their conscience started bothering them?

flamingo there are three teenage boys (14-21) living across the street from my parents. We’ve know they’ve done some not so pretty things in the past...

ETA according to my parents one of them moved out of the downstairs apartment. I think mom cleaned it out and found the bike & just put it on the sidewalk, but the is speculation off course.

M2 was refusing to nap, so I finally caved and decided to take a ride to Sam’s to pop in for 1 thing and figured he would fall asleep on the way back. I tried my best to keep him up on the ride there, but I got hit with every red light possible and he fell asleep right before we got there. Ugh. Going back home.

The boys were actual angels at the pumpkin place. We were there for 3.5 hours. My phone died an hour in so I have no pictures.

House painting is done. Light fixtures are spray painted and look soo much better. I still need to do the 2 on the back but not today. I want to repaint the house numbers and one of the people I follow on IG always uses this stuff called “rub n buff” so I’m going to hobby lobby tomorrow to see if they carry it in store. I’m hopeful it’ll be easy enough to do without making a huge mess.

With the help of Haribo gummy bears, We survived Family Pictures 2019. 🙌🏻🤪 i feel like I should get a medal or T-shirt or something. Kids were good and everyone’s outfits were 👌🏻 so hopefully we got at least 1 decent one. #thebarislow

Lazy day. We went to target, had Panera, LO and I made chocolate chip cookies, a family recipe I never tried before and won’t try again anytime soon. It was way too dry. Now we’re eating dinner then bath then bed. I’m hoping to start week 3 homework tonight so I don’t stress since we will be going to the Rise Festival next weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
