Hi!
DH took B for a haircut this morning and they came back with donuts 🙌🏻
I think the dog has PTSD from my trip last weekend. She has been my not-so-little shadow since I got home. She is currently sitting ON my feet.
Low-key day here. DH has a flight at noon, so I imagine the kids and I will hang around here watching football. 5 Guys is on the agenda for tonight.

Homework. My goal is to finish this weeks’s big paper and get all the reading done for next week and start on the big paper for it as well while C does all the grocery shopping at Costco and the grocery store.

Morning! Busy busy weekend over here. Birthday parties galore, one this afternoon, one tomorrow afternoon & Ds has his first drop off party tomorrow. Dh is playing a baseball game tonight, ds is flipping out over this, so we’re heading out to watch him play tonight. My parents are coming home from vacation tomorrow, so I bought lots of flowers and some groceries. Ordering sushi tonight 🎉🎉🎉.

Hi ladies. I have a self-defense seminar at one of the other TKD studios in the franchise. They are having an open house and there will be bounce houses. Once we've had our fill MH will stay and the girls and I will go out to eat or the mall nearby. Maybe I'll brave Ikea.

Hi hi - surviving our first weekend day with everyone home. I've so far introduced j to the great British baking show and he is super into it. He has a party at 1 and the parents said we can drop off or not, so I think we will drop him. They have a paint person coming to the house and then decorating cupcakes, it sounds super fun to me!

Morning! The girls are with my dad and step mom for most of the day. DH and I are en route to the annual golf tournament to watch for a few hours. We checked out the habitat restore because they had a big sale but didn’t end up purchasing anything.

My mom is watching MJ and I'm mowing grass. A is almost done with the yard. It looks great. I need a shower so bad. The grass is so dry but it needs mowed and it's going to rain Sunday so I need to get it done. I'm covered in dust. I came in to nurse her and had to rinse my boob off..

Hiii! Sitting at dance for Josie. It’s 2 classes for 90 minutes total. Parents can stay on the porch or in the big waiting room but all of the classes are upstairs, so you can’t watch. Next time I’ll leave, but for today I found a coffee/juice bar across the street and am enjoying the silence.
We have some outside work I’d like to do today, but otherwise just a quiet afternoon.
We got bad yet inconclusive news on the kitty yesterday. Blood work showed nothing, but he is wasting away pound-wise and if it stays the course he might only have a month or two left.
We could do a very costly ultrasound/ X-ray combo and still essentially be in the same boat.
He was a rescue so we always had him pinned around 14, but this vet said he is definitely closer to 16. Aside from pain management and maybe steroids I dont think we’d do anything heroic.
This also changes our plan to go to nc next weekend bc mh doesn’t want to leave the cat if we only have a small amount of time left with him. Not exactly the out I was looking for ...

Hi! 5 Guys is on the agenda for tonight. I just had a five guys milkshake a few weeks back. The add ins made it so much fun!! I don't think I realized they did add-ins! DH would love that. We went to this place in Nashville called the Legendairy Milkshake and their shakes were insane. Our favorite was the cheesecake one, it actually had a slice of cheesecake on top and the rim of the glass was dipped in chocolate and covered in potato chip pieces. There was other stuff in it that I can't even remember, lol. |

We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning. H kept licking the icing off and then asking for another one. When I told him he had to finish it before I gave him another one, he hid it under the table. The dog ratted him out.

So I just sent mh to drop j off at a party an hour early🤦. I texted the mom omg I'm so sorry and she said it was totally fine and understandable. It is at their house so he was watching TV with the bday girl. Meanwhile mh is soo grouchy and mad that I didn't double check the invite...which I had forwarded to him, so he could have checked. I also managed to order the gift from the hospital, wrap it, and make sure j had made a card this morning. I'd say that is enough mental load for someone 4 days pp on no sleep.

I was 30 minutes from being done and the mower ran out of gas. I had asked my dad to get more and he forgot. By the time he got back with gas my mom had to leave, so now I have Mallory. Alex is almost done and then he can watch or so I can finish.

Cadence has a bday party at 4, then swim class. We're going a little early since it's at a park so that she'll get enough play time in and won't notice when we have to leave early.
Tomorrow we're headed to my mom's house to hang out.

Finally finished mowing and got a bath. Bathed MJ with me too. I just got her to sleep and sent the boys out to pick up rocks with daddy.
