He’ll be so excited! Maui costume? H’s came in the mail yesterday and he’s been wearing it non stop. He even had to wear it to the bus stop this morning so all the big kids would see it. He’s pretty proud. Haha! I have money on the hook not making it until Halloween. |

I had to park and walk in water up to my knees to get H from daycare. Then I picked up M and one of her friends. His parents can’t make it to the school. Luckily I brought enough umbrellas for everyone. Now we’re eating snacks and watching Madagascar 3.

I went to Home Goods and found a couple glass pumpkins/gourds to display on one end of my hall table. Now I need something tall and maybe floral/leaf-y on the other side and my mom is suggesting I take a flower-arranging class. I would probably like that but right now I just want to find something ready-made or stick some branches in a vase, lol.
We are having chili for dinner with cornbread and salad, and I can't wait. DH has a night flight tonight so once he's gone and the kids are down I can get in bed and relax.

Hey ladies. Time is just getting away from me these days. I had family in town for the weekend and it's just so draining. Add the heat and I'm beat. E is doing awesome in school and we're kind of in a routine but I really need to fit in swimming again so I feel normal. I think I'm a bit depressed and anaemic with little motivation to do more than eat.
Exciting to pop in and see baby news and boyfriend news!
