Good morning! chrisy01 I hope your headache eases up soon, it does not sound delightful :/ Starting to feel like fall outside today! The air is cool and humidity has dropped--amen. Speech for B this morning, then I might take the kids to CFA for breakfast before we need to be home to meet the bus. |

flamingo jealous of fall like weather. It's going to be 90 here today. I'm still in summer dresses and sandals. I'm over it. I'm so ready for sweatshirts and bonfires! chrisy01 I hope your head feels better. Evie came into our bed at some point in the middle of the night and climbed in bed. I have no idea what time it was. But she tossed and turned forever, until I told her to close her eyes and go to sleep or go back to her bed. Then she woke at 4:30 asking for her tablet. I'm tired. We are going to a bar and grill with some neighbors to celebrate a birthday tonight. I'm excited to not have to cook. They have this yummy zoodle recipe that has grilled chicken and feta, so yummy. Plus beer.

Hello! I got all kids to bed by 8 last night and then laid in bed with peppermint tea watching TV. The best (well, if it'd been wine then it'd TRULY have been the best, but still). I'm at work today.

We are trying to plan something for my parents 40th anniversary this spring. The original plan was to rent a bit cottage/house and all go (kid free though, woo!) and just relax, cook nice dinners, drink, play games, ect. Now my oldest sister keeps saying they have no money. I get it but it's always the case and it makes it hard to plan big celebrations. I'm happy to throw in extra money but I think she'd just feel weird about it.

I didn't realize anyone other than Peach had half day kindergarten! 90% of our district has gone to full-day as of this year, but our school and 3 others are still half day due to construction of new schools. So next year it'll be completely full-day here (naturally, we missed it by one year, ha!) |

She cluster fed most of the night and then I finally sent her to the nursery at 3:30 so I could sleep for a minute. I may send mh home tonight so I stop glaring at him while he sleeps.. thankfully I didn't tear and can get up and around easily. Her full name is Katherine for options when she's older, but nn Kate for now and her middle name is my original middle name, which is a family name. Kids come after school and hoping they are smitten. They are getting new puppies to match their Ikea dog families with pink bows as gifts from the baby, so I think they will like her😉 |

mwhip I can commiserate with the heat. I feel like it’s cooled off here a bit earlier than usual, but Nashville was stifling this past weekend. 99 on Friday and we felt like we were in an oven. Not sure if that’s the norm there or unusually hot, but it was 🥵

I'm so tired. Apparently all the meds wear off around 4 because that's when I start coughing. Last night was jam packed. Got off work at 5, picked Cadence up from school and went directly to Girls Scouts, that was from 6-7, then Cadence decided she wanted Schlotzsky's so we went there to eat, then we walked around Party City because she wanted to see all the new Halloween stuff. We got home just after 8, got her showered and in bed. I was exhausted, but couldn't fall asleep until after 11.

Hi!
Not off to a great morning. I was running a bit late getting M to school and the someone was intentionally blocking the shortcut I take it I’m late or traffic is bad. It’s a church parking lot. Kinda pissed me off, but whatever. I still got M to school just before the bell.
I was supposed to be getting my license at the dmv, but since I got off to a late start, I wasn’t impressed with the line that had formed by the time I got there. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Just cleaning the house and M has tennis. I have to meet him before dismissal so he can change his clothes since today was picture day.

So was I. My SIL sent a text saying the eye would be passing over her eyes with a pic of the projection. I was so confused. I thought she was talking about a tornado. Lol. It's supposed to get worse throughout the day, depending on the area. HISD is just so big, so I get why they did it. But some areas probably won't get much more than an inch today and others could get 6. |

My brother always says he doesn't have enough money to contribute to stuff. It bugs me (mostly b/c he and his family go on like 8,296 vacations per year but you can't cough up $100 for a birthday present for your father??) but anyway. I just finally started saying "I bought X, it costs Y, please just Venmo me whatever you are comfortable with". Would she be able to do that? And then it's not you assuming how much she can afford, she can just quietly send the $$ (Of course that's assuming you can afford to cover her, as I am still wanting for the money from my dad's 80th present last week that I will probably never get). |

Morning. Hoping for a lazy day. I got a huge amazon order delivered yesterday with all the random baby stuff I still needed, so I’ll go through that and put everything away. Dh is out tonight so i told the kids we could go to Froyo after dinner since it’s the last week they are open. Other than that, nothing planned.

Today is picture day for us too. We changed pants at the last minute b/c he said the pants I picked out (new pants) were too tight. They are not, but he has a tough body type for pants (he is very skinny but has a huge butt... sorry kid, that's my genes). so he said it was tight in his hips. Anyway, I changed to a different pair at the last minute and didn't realize they were literally falling off of him till we were walking out the door.
Hope the pictures turn out nice and you can't tell.
I also sent him in his same shirt as the first day of school b/c I have been so busy and never had a chance to pick out a new one like I usually do.
I guess we'll see!
