Does anyone have a recommendation of a cute long sweatshirt? One long enough I can wear with leggings and is comfy without looking frumpy? Thinking of easy and comfortable stuff for fall, especially for walking to the bus stop and such!

We’re at speech; I might try and fit in a grocery run before we head home to meet the school bus.
Otherwise, just housework today; FIL is visiting this weekend while I’m out of town so I want to leave the house reasonably clean.

I just bought two of these also. I’m hoping they they are as comfy as they look. I think they’ll be perfect for postpartum wear too. And I agree on AE comfy clothes. I bought 2 sweatshirts last winter and lived in them. |

I second this. I love my aerie sweatshirts/sweaters. LOVE. Sooooooo comfy. I’m looking forward to being able to wear them in the cooler months. |

Glad you’re safe trtlcrzy! Morning. It’s a rainy day again. Storms rolled through around 2am so I didn’t sleep great. Dh has the start of a sore throat and of course, is dying. He loaded up on ibuprofen and mucinex dm before bed.. for a scratchy throat *eye roll*. And then complained he got the worst night of sleep ever. Don’t talk to me about bad sleep, dude. |

trtlcrzy God you all are safe. I saw a headline about the tornado there this morning and thought of you. Do you all have power? The article said a lot of people are without power after it hit.

Also my washer keeps having a drain error after the wash cycle. It has happened a couple times earlier this year, but I just thought it was a fluke. Now it’s happening frequently. I need to troubleshoot that, but it’s not helping my want for a new washer. I hope I can fix the issue myself so I can hold off on that. Looks like I’ll be looking for a clog and listening for a drain motor issue.

Today I'm trying to knock out as much as I can at work since I'm off tomorrow and at my other job FRI. I need to fall up my porch. I'm think no live plants that I'll inevitably kill, but some gourds or something along with a wreath.

We do have power. Because of where we are located in town we actually have a different electric company so we usually don’t lose power when the rest of the city does. |

Morning! Our house is fine. Just the broken stuff in the back yard. Lots of debris to clean up. The next door neighbor had a window shatter because a trampoline hit it. I’m glad everyone is safe that I know. The tornado was east of us, so we just had 80-90mph winds. There are trees and power lines down all over town that are being cleaned up. H had a 2 hour late start and S’s preschool is cancelled for today. PDQ   |

That's crazy trtlcrzy! Those wooden swingsets are heavy. Glad you were all safe and didn't have any major damage! Some of the trucks my H is supposed to be working on were sent out for storm damage (utility companies) so he's just sitting around waiting to see if they'll be back. |

He gets paid to sit in his truck and wait or work, so he's good. Hopefully insurance gives you a nice check for the swingset so you can get a new one! |

Also, I am struggling today. Thankfully I did not know anyone who died but being where I am (large NYC commuter population) I have a number of tangentially related people (like friends of friends) and people that have close stories (supposed to be at work in the towers but called out sick, etc.) My facebook feed is full of stories and memories and I went into the post on GD and started crying at my desk so I had to exit.
I can't even fathom how hard today is for so many people. IT baffles my mind that we are already 18 years removed from this and it really feels like just yesterday.
