This season was so good I need to rewatch to catch all the amazing little details I'm sure I missed .
Hands down my favorite moment was whatshisname running the paper bag out of the hotel lobby
Kendall: What the fuck is that?!
Roman: That, is an imaginary cat, now would you please fuck off?

I texted this to my husband earlier:
Tom Wambsgans took out all three Roy children in one swoop.
There is only one person to have an unassisted triple play in the World Series: Bill Wambsganns.

I rewatched last night and when the three siblings are leaving the back of the villa after Kendall confessed and figuring out where to go next and Kendall is still crying a bit and says “Can I stay with you guys?” 😭

While he still is not my favorite Mr. Darcy, I watched him recently in the Howard’s End miniseries from a few years ago, and he blows me away. I think he’s truly one of the best actors working today. The way he changed his voice and laugh in that role, and there’s one scene where a woman kisses him, and as she walks away, his neck literally flushes pink on screen. He’s so talented at taking on completely different roles.

I’ve actually not watched the Anthony Hopkins one, and didn’t know the story, so I had no idea what to expect. As a commentary on society at the time, I found it fascinating. I think Hayley Atwell is compelling and so charming. She played a really fascinating, complex character. Overall, it was a good surprise to me, and time well spent. What did you think of it? (Maybe we should start our own thread, lol.)

So I have watched the movie because...Emma Thompson...but it was a loooong time ago and I only remembered like the first half of the story for some reason.* I really liked the mini-series - more than I thought I would - and I agree on both Hayley Atwell and Matthew Macfayden. *One thing I DID remember is who played Leonard Bast in the original and since I know you watch All Creatures Great and Small, I'll give you a pic:

I really should watch that one. Not sure why I haven’t.
