tgrimes , Enty should include that in his posts then. It was just the argument that ensued on the royals thread. Nothing to do with Enty. The die hard meghan fans don't believe she's being a diva and that it's because of the racist threats her & Archie receive. It was brought up that George gets threats from ISIS and they still fly commercial when they can. Meghan & Harry had a recent vacation to Elton John's house where they flew private & Harry attended the Google summit via private jet to speak about climate change. He also said they'd only have 2 kids because of the carbon footprint. These are just the highlights. |

It then turned into a shit storm of 5 pages. I still roll my eyes at this stuff though. I mean, Harry might be talking out of his ass (and of course just because he does something for a cause doesn't mean his wife has to), but really, they are insanely wealthy and most of us would be ballin' in a private jet if we had the opportunity even if we did love the environment. I'm a tree-hugging-no-plastic-straw-drinking Oregonian but I'd still be living the good life in a private plane if I could. Thanks for the context though. I don't know or care enough about royals to follow the royals thread. The blinds is bad enough with all the Kardashian stuff to skip over. |

I'm much more annoyed at auto companies being in bed with oil companies and dragging their feet on hybrid and electric vehicle production (I've been having an ongoing saga with Toyota and want to buy a hybrid Rav-4 but they barely have any in stock because they made way more gas vehicles). And basically any type of product made found in stores that is packaged with a ton of excess materials. It'd make a much bigger impact if the gov't would make stricter regulations about these things than Meghan and Harry flying in their private jet, but I understand the hypocrisy. |

Seriously? Preschool? Karma will get her b/c I am sure at some point her daughter will be the one crying. Edit - I just finished reading. But honestly she's still a little shitty for posting that anyway. That's my thought. If my kid says something akin to an asshole I correct her and explain why that's something a douche canoe would say and encourage her to have some empathy. It's not something I'd post on FB. But a lot of people post a lot of weird crap on social media I never would so there's that. Right!? Especially since we are friends on social media and she knew L was one of the kids her daughter was referring to! Oh well. |

My sister's SIL posted this long fb post about how her daughter started preschool and was so annoyed by all the crying kids (first day being dropped off) and kept saying they were a bunch of babies and needed to shut up. Guess who's in the same class and was crying at drop off? L! Ugh. 🙄 at your SIL. |

Afternoon - this morning felt more normal and both kids happily went to their schools. J is so so tired but really seems pumped about all the new stuff. He has yet to bring home a folder though.. if I can figure out how to load money to his lunch acct, I think he's buying pizza tomorrow. I do miss not seeing him as much, but I'm sure I'll adjust. N is a hoot, so it's nice getting to chat with her in the car, j barely let her get a word in.

Until today, I've never seen a first day of school for the really little ones where someone wasn't a bit teary. I was actually shocked this morning that none of the kids in C's class were crying, especially since there were lots of tears this summer at camp. Totally normal! eta: HA! I see it was the kid, not Mom. |

Hi! School for both kiddos today. C did great...found her "pawprint" with her name on it with no issue (they're the puppy class), put her stuff in her cubby, and sat down to do play-doh...didn't even notice me leaving, lol. After the bus came for B I headed out to Homegoods just to browse kid-free  School is cancelled here tomorrow (F you, Dorian). It was definitely a non-event in FL so hopefully will not be much more of one here. |

Cadence gets a daily folder from her teacher and then there is a special school-wide Monday folder that has school information and stuff like that.

I feel like there is much less communication from the elementary school than there was from our preschool. I did get an email from her teacher yesterday though because H got a bloody nose so she was informing me about that and asking if it happens often. H’s teacher also has a fb page for her class that she posts pics and info on through the week. Not daily but every few days. |

I think this was my biggest adjustment to elementary school. I felt all mommy crazy about how I knew so little about so much of my kid's life. I had little clue about what she did much of the day. Her first grade teacher had better communication so that was nice. |

I am told there is a communication system that the school uses to post pics etc. But I haven't been given the information for it yet. Another mom who lives local just texted me that she drove by the school and saw S on the playground and he looked like he was having the time of his life  |

M’s teacher uses that and the homeroom app/site for uploading pics and videos. |

The boys arent happy until they wake MJ up... I took their iPads for the night for this time. It was deliberate. Right after I told them not to go near her... and now because she got woke up abruptly shes screaming. So I cant make dinner. And now will miss the PTO meeting. Is it bed time yet?

Twisted my ankle leaving work. Hurt so bad I sat right down where I was to wait for the pain to subside. It didn't, and I had to get Cadence to dance, so up I got. Got her from school, or someone resembling her, but with an absolute feral attitude. Realized I forgot her tights and she had an epic meltdown in the bathroom while getting changed.
Is it bedtime yet? Luckily her dance teacher has to deal with her for the next hour.
