I completely forgot about the belly band until you guys mentioned it. I think it's packed away with the maternity things. I wasnt a huge fan because I'm hippy and it kept rolling up anytime I moved.

I remember there was a different way of wearing the belly band that made a big difference for me in it not riding up... I *think* you put the bottom part under your pants, put your pants over it, then fold the top down over your pants? My memory is a bit fuzzy.

Today my oldest turns 5! I am so not ready for this. I am sure I will be a hormonal mess shortly. Party this evening with just close family. Still need to clean though...

Lakes we met our deductible this year, before having a baby. So much urgent care and surgery for DD too. @icetea you and your hate for beets ! I love beets Oh man. That's nuts. But I'd be getting all the procedures, checks and screening appointments in.

Iβm hiding in the basement eating cookies. Solid life decision.
Iβm trying to meal plan for the week. Iβm surrounded by amazing recipes but so uninspired at the moment.

My head is killing me and I shouldn't be looking at a screen. But damn I am sick of dealing with the concussion nonsense. I just hit 8 months of this bs. I have to go get DD soon. I can't wait for her to be all about Daddy. I love her, but I'm ready to be needed a little less. Ugh, sorry about the ongoing concussion woes. That sounds awful. My kid actually cried wanting me to take him to daycare this morning. I think it was just because I told him I was going to because I thought my husband couldn't do it, but then it turned out he could. I let him hold my hand (we count to 10 when he feels clingy) and then he wanted to give me a hug and I have to admit it felt kinda nice to be wanted. I have talked to him about not crying and asking for daddy when I pick him up so we'll see how he does today.

Raisins are yummy! Especially in bran or chocolate. But they should never be in cookies. Oatmeal chocolate chip for life ETA: @icedtea, I'm sorry you're feeling unwell. I hope you can get some relief soon.

I do not know the back story but OMG to 8 months?? I'm so sorry, that sounds absolutely horrible. One concussion in January, then another just as I was healing, in July. Look for cupboards before you stand up, kids. My gosh you poor thing. I hope you get some relief soon. Are they concerned about any long term effects?

Iβm at the lab this morning for my GTT and Iβm so hungry. Also I need coffee. Theyβll draw my blood in 27 minutes and Iβm plotting where I can go for a greasy caloric breakfast next.

I told J about dressing up as Waldo for Halloween. He seemed excited although I'm not sure he knows what Halloween is.

SD agreed to be a dragon! So we'll have a dragon and a taco. Which is fun because they can stand alone or be cute together for those who get the book reference.

My kid loves mac and cheese but told me yesterday that he doesn't like the cheese part. So then I told him to just eat the pasta (that is covered in cheese) and he insisted that mac and cheese is not pasta. Whatever you say kiddo.

My gosh you poor thing. I hope you get some relief soon. Are they concerned about any long term effects? Thank you! No one will tell me so far :/ I only went to the ER in July, didn't even realize what happened in January. My neuro wouldn't say anything, just sent me to a specialist, who didn't have an opening until this Thursday. I'm hoping she has answers. GL on Thursday, Iβll be keeping you in my thoughts π€ itβs scary and frustrating to have no answers

And it's currently the only way he eats cheese. Little weirdo.

Whenever I ask him to do something he did at daycare (sing the ABCs, count, dance, whatever his daily report says they did) he says "NO, I did that already!". So sassy.
