Morning and Happy Friday! Yay for a 3 day weekend!

Evie and H went to their Watch D.O.G. meeting last night and got home just before 7. She should have gotten in the tub right then, but wanted something to eat. Fine. Then she had to poop. Fine. Then she needed to have dessert. Fine. And H just kept saying 'she'll be fine, tomorrow's Friday.' Yeah, no shit, I'm the one who has to get her out of bed after a week of school. So she went to bed late, we had a storm last night which brought her to our bed at 1:30, then she woke at 5 when we got up. She's going to be a gem today. She already lost her shit when I told her she can't take an umbrella to school.

Much easier today! Thank you for asking. There were far fewer parents, and we left five minutes earlier, making all the difference in the world.

Morning! C had his meet the teacher thing last night. He was super shy but warmed up once he went to the playground with the other K classes and saw some friends. I'm sooooo glad his friend from the neighborhood isn't in his class. The kid doesn't listen and can be really mean. The parents really don't discipline him and are just like, "Oh, his free spirited personality is so cute!". I feel like he'll just disrupt the class and I was afraid C would try to go along with it if he was with him.

I got hit with the worst migraine of my life last night and contemplated going to the emergency room. I still might if it doesnt go back to my normal level. MJ has literally never cried at a motn wake up. She roots, I nurse her, she conks out. Last night she screamed just about every hour. I dont think I got 2 hours sleep all night long. And neither did A. And this one feels completely different than my usual bad ones. Theres things I've figured out will give me some relief and nothing worked last night. Not a damn thing. I feel like I've been hit my a freaking truck and I have to take J to his preschool orientation at some point between 9-noon.

Today I'm swamped at work. 😐 I have a headache from this ear infection and if this happens again when covering for a holiday, I'm calling out and leaving my boss high and dry if he screws up and doesn't block my schedule.

Morning. H doesn’t have school today...but S does so I promised her we could do something fun while it’s just the two of us. She requested to go to the mall play area so that’s what we will do. I need to get to the UPS store at some point today to drop off a package, maybe on the way to the mall. I had my post op appt yesterday. Everything looks good healing wise, but I told her that I’ve been having frequent urges to urinate so she did a UA and I have a UTI. Cool.

I hope everyone who is not feeling well or is hurt is better ASAP!

Morning!

DH is taking Colin to the Yankee game and heading in early to catch batting practice. He's so excited between getting picked up from school, riding the train and then it's Gleyber Torres bobblehead night. So I'll be taking Chase out for dinner, just the two of us. He's obsessed with the diner so I suggested it last night and his first words when I went in this morning were "are we going to the diner?" LOL. So at least I know he's excited.

Other than that, it's a Friday before the long weekend so I'm sure our office will empty out by 3pm, but I'll be stuck here until at least 5 since I work with the Calgary office. But hey, it's still a 3 day weekend so I can't complain too much.

Morning. We didn’t get home until 1am from the game last night. H fell asleep in second half and n didn’t fall asleep until close to midnight in the car, so she’s still asleep.

We’re heading camping for two nights. I have done nothing to get ready, so I need to start doing that. I have made it clear I’d rather stay home this weekend, and that I’m going to do minimal parenting/ cooking etc and dh can handle it all. Ha.

Hi.

I’m at work. MH leaves today for football. I decided not to make the trip. I need to figure out what to do with the boys for dinner tonight. I want to take them out for dinner to keep them from destroying the house. My mom comes in tomorrow , so the house needs to stay mostly in shape.

This attitude slays me. Before my hiatus I think I told y’all about the kid at speech...climbing all over me, touching my feet, etc, while Mom does absolutely nothing. This past week the little girl started rooting through my handbag! A few minutes later she started moving chairs around to stand on one to try and talk to (read: annoy) the receptionist in her little office. Mom says to me in a very fawning tone, “she’s just so independent.” No. She’s a kid who’s had no discipline or correction and it shows.

wineallthetime ugh, kids like that are so hard to deal with. I have boundaries, drill in respect and kindness into my two spawns yet it's questioned by some random kid that wont listen and then my kids think it's cool to act like a brat. no thank you please. I'm glad C isnt in class with him.

I never understand how people don't feel embarassed when their kids act crazy in public. The boys act like normal kids in public and we're still trying to get them to behave better. It's so weird to me.

I've got meetings scheduled through 5:30...  I think that's unreasonable any given Friday, forget about on a Friday before a long weekend!!

It’s astonishing to me that she wouldn’t be completely mortified by the purse incident.
Dog knows my kids love to climb but they can do that at home and the park, not public waiting rooms.

Especially weird if she waits for other people to correct her child instead of telling her we don’t touch other people’s things and we sit on our bottom to keep our body safe.
