Does anyone else’s school use scrip as a fundraiser? My sister’s kids go to a private catholic school and they do. If I’m remembering correctly they are required to fundraise $2000 a year. They usually get grocery store gift cards that they use year round and buy everyone Christmas gift cards for amazon and such. Also do they meet their minimum just using that? |

My nephew's party went better than I expected. My older nephew played music with his jazz band friends and they were pretty good. It was nice to see him with friends.

MH seriously pulled out 4 big boxes of kid shoes for me to sort. So much stuff in our laundry room! I have this. but if it’s in the cards for us we want a third. So we need to wait to throw out stuff 🤦🏼♀️. Now that you are back from your trip are you going to try? |

I swam 2.4 miles today! It wasn't near as fast as the 19-20yr old college swim team kids but it was fun and I know I can go farther with better training so I'm already planning next year's events.
Then we just played outside today because the weather was amazing

lfig because it is her mouth, I would take her to a vet. She may have a broken jaw which would prevent her from being able to eat and drink. Plus, they would be able to scan for a possible microchip and find her owners. I agree. It’s possible there’s nothing to be done if the muscle is unable to swallow. |

Nobody up yet?! It is hot here. Again. Doesn’t the universe get that I have had more then my share of heat this year?!? We blew the budget big time in the states, so of course we booked plain tickets to my sister in Norway! Just for a few days. I promised myself I would go every year and didn’t go last year and if things go as we want them too, next year is going to difficult too. I mean that what savings are for, right 🙄?

I was loading up the kids into my car to head to the 2nd birthday party and my car wouldn’t start, because of course it wouldn’t when MH is gone. Luckily I have the best neighbors in the world. They checked the voltage on my battery and volunteered to go get me another one and install it after dropping us off at the party. Then he brought my car to me after making sure it was just the battery and not my alternator.
Only thing that sucks is I just got a battery last year so it would have been covered under warranty if I had knee where we had purchased it. I called 5 different places but no luck.

That was sweet of your neighbors tgrimes. Got my workout done and I'm watching my parents dog hump and tear apart her dog bed. She's a special one. I'll try to visit my grandma today before driving home. |

Hi!
Another work day. I had one add on parent and as soon as I was finishing up, the computer app I was using went nuts on me. So I spent an extra hour there troubleshooting. Not ideal.
I just picked up pizza and hoping M2 stays asleep for another hour or so so I can chill out for a moment.

Yo.
Yesterday was busy but fun! Today MH went golfing with the neighbour and I cleaned the house and did a few projects, the kids were good and have been occupying themselves.
They’re currently playing hide n seek and I’m pretty sure they’re both hiding right now. They need to improve their communication but I’m not going to be the one to break up this silence.

Dude is now asking for a pet rabbit. My reading says that it’s suggested they live indoors and roam freely. Anyone have a clue how feasible it is to keep them in a bunny diaper in order to do that?

cagoldi I normally drink two lattes with skim milk during the day. Well during vacation my skin really cleared up, I drank less milk and if I did it was whole milk. I read online that there’s a connection between acne and (skim) milk, so maybe I need to find a substitute. I really don’t like soy milk, do you have a non dairy recommendation? Eta or anyone of course!

I mowed my moms grass while she watched my kids. I had music blaring and a lovely 2 hours to myself. MJ is asleep on her and the boys are playing nicely. A is at a charity golf thing with my dad and brother. He wont be home until late. I'm hoping to talk my mom into going out for dinner and putting the kids to bed early.

Since you all have been with me through all this since the git go- we got more bad news on grandma. She'll get scanned in a few weeks (doctor is on vacation) but doctor is pretty sure the treatment is not doing a thing and the cancer has spread to her bones now. Also found another large, hard lymph node. Shes assuming its cancer as well. All her others like that have been.. Good news is that she has moved in with my mom so we get so much more time with her. And we can take proper care of her instead of hoping my cousin checks on her.. shes really starting to look frail. Shes been looking sicker- but she looks awful now.
