Cadence has gymnastics this morning, then I'm taking her for a swim test this afternoon at a new swim school. We'll see how it goes.
Tomorrow we have a playdate at the mall with one of her old dc friends.
AC guys are supposed to come to clean out the air ducts. They were supposed to do it 2 weeks ago and never showed.

Morning. MJ promptly threw up in my bed this morning. And last night. So I'm washing sheets.. we're going to the little amusement park by us tonight for a company picnic my dad does work for. Should be a great time. And it's free.

Morning! It's raining here, we may never mow our yard again. It's been almost 2 weeks since we last mowed and needs it bad, but it's always raining or HOT.
H and I are going to the Chiefs preseason game tonight with my brother and sister in law. They're my company tickets, so great seats and a parking pass. Looking forward to tailgating with someone other than just H.

We have 2 birthday parties to attend today. One is a swimming party and the other is at a friend’s house. They have a blow up water slide thing that H loves. M doesn’t like it because the boys play too rough in it.
MH is out of town for a fantasy football draft. 🙄

I’m sitting at the gym waiting to sign my kids up for classes. It’s free with our membership but fills up fast so i got here early.
I told everyone at my work about my new job. My boss was the only one who didn’t congratulate me. There is one coworker who is acting weird but I’m not gonna press it. I’m moving onward and upward.
Going to a baseball game with the kids tonight and some friends. Should be fun.

All of your weekends sound super fun. We literally have no plans. I have to find a lunch box insert for Josie bc every one I order doesn’t fit, and I’m trying to meal plan for September.

Morning! No big plans here since Col has golf at noon - between that and Chase still napping, it really kills the day.
DH's parents are supposed to watch the boys tonight so we can go out for a date night. Add in that it finally cooled off and I had the best run in weeks, I have no complaints.

We’ve got two birthday parties today and with the timing it means that J will be skipping nap, hopefully she powers through and we all have a good time.
Other than that i’ve got to monitor my cat since she started meds today and get blood pressure readings from her, that sounds terrific 😐

We’re having X’s party today. He has no idea what’s going on but he’s going to think it’s fun to see so many of his friends at our park.
I’ve been doing laps for an hour waiting for the city employee to come unlock the gate so I can start setting up.
Sinny isn’t doing well. It’s looking like this will be his last day with us. 😢

I have 2 friends coming to visit today. It’s still kinda cold for the beach but they will want to go anyway so it may be a play in the sand in sweatshirts day. Tomorrow DH’s group friends that he grew up with down here will all be in town then Monday I have another friend coming with her kids. It should warm up later in the week.

Morning. We were late for the 5k last night. DH got home from work late, we had to stop to get food and then when we were almost there got stopped by a train. We booked it on the path, turned around a little early and ended up crossing the finish behind the other people. We didn’t stay too long after it was done. I am so sore, esp after being so inactive the last 2.5 weeks. DH is at a golf tournament today that benefits Huntington’s disease. Of course that means I will be solo parenting all day. At noon we have a birthday party across the street. cagoldi I’m so sorry about Sinny. I didn’t realize he was in such poor health. |

Off to a splash pad bday party. My SiL arrived late and we were up til basically 1 chatting, so we are dragging today. We are taking 3 kids to a night O's game tonight, so that will be an adventure. It's gorgeous weather though, so hoping it will be fun. Mh thankfully didn't get his regular seats bc that'd be a solid waste of money. I may have to give 0 f's and wear my compression socks tonight, it's a lot of walking there and weekends are a lot harder on me since I sit all day during the week..

I got in to OR late last night and my dear mom talked my ear off until midnight so I slept through the hot air balloons this morning. 🙄 We'll see them tomorrow (they go right over my parents' house).
Today my nephew's birthday party (which I'm dreading) and then having fun at the Art and Air festival. I think Foreigner is playing tonight but since MH isn't here I dont think I'll go solo.

My mom is adorable. She left her old school version of social media gossip for me to look at here. Local newspaper articles about a robbery committed by my preschool BFF and a human interest story about my high school science teacher.

cagoldi so sorry to hear about Sinny. I didn't realize he wasnt well. I may end up taking my kid to MILs earlier than originally planned because she is killing my will to live. So tired, refuses to nap. She needs to be someone elses problem.
