Morning! We’re having X’s party today. He has no idea what’s going on but he’s going to think it’s fun to see so many of his friends at our park. I’ve been doing laps for an hour waiting for the city employee to come unlock the gate so I can start setting up. Sinny isn’t doing well. It’s looking like this will be his last day with us. 😢 Noooooo, Sinny. I’m sorry. |

I have 2 friends coming to visit today. It’s still kinda cold for the beach but they will want to go anyway so it may be a play in the sand in sweatshirts day. Tomorrow DH’s group friends that he grew up with down here will all be in town then Monday I have another friend coming with her kids. It should warm up later in the week. How do I get on this friend list for beach days? Maybe our next get together should be there. 😁 |

I work this weekend, so I was there all morning. The girl I was working with needed help after I was done, so I stayed an extra hour to help her figure stuff out. MH had to go to work with both boys, so I picked up M2 after I left. Nothing else on the agenda today.

Took Cadence for her swim test. She's at a higher level than I expected. I registered her for a Saturday evening class, so we'll be going back today for that.

I'm so excited to sleep though. I cleaned all my bedding. Sheets, bed skirt, down comforter, pillows and put on a new bright white super soft duvet. I did not, however, think about my black dog who sheds like crazy and loves our bed...

Only some crappy casinos. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s the draft with high school friends. I really only like 2 of them because the rest didn’t turn out that great. His other draft was last night. Apparently some of them ended up at a strip club afterwards. Not surprisingly, all of his friends that we hang out with and like from that group went home instead. |

C’s party was fun cagoldi. L and E had fun!! They are both napping. I’m hoping to do laundry and clean out the hall closet. |

Thanks, girls. The party was great. Super low key and the kids had fun. I was annoyed that Pete missed a lot of it then stood in a corner talking about work instead of playing with X, watching him open presents, or supervising any of his children. 🙄 But thankfully, my mom, sisters, and chrisy01 were very helpful. |

I did Josie’s closets last nights. It’s lovely, even though I don’t love the closet system that’s in there.
Her dresser/bookshelf is another story. I call the top of it “yard sale chic” bc she has all her “treasures” on display. I’ve been patient this summer but come September it will
no longer look like that.

wedding or klong11 I need cat help. TW because kinda gruesome description. We had a cat show up at our house that seems to have been attacked by something. It’s got 2 lacerations on its face and is missing part of its tongue. The part of its tongue that was missing was stuck to its lower lip/jaw. MH was able to gently get it off. Its body is in good shape, doesn’t seem to hurt anywhere. Walks fine and is plump/well fed. Comes up to us meowing a lot. We tried to give it wet food but doesn’t seem to be able to eat. Tried to clean itself but can’t. Is there anything we can do? Is there any hope for this sweet kitty? Will a few days of healing allow it to eat? It’s so sad. I want to just scoop it up and snuggle it. I have left a message with an acquaintance that used to work for a vet and rescues, hoping to hear back soon from her.

lfig because it is her mouth, I would take her to a vet. She may have a broken jaw which would prevent her from being able to eat and drink. Plus, they would be able to scan for a possible microchip and find her owners.

Does anyone else’s school use scrip as a fundraiser? My sister’s kids go to a private catholic school and they do. If I’m remembering correctly they are required to fundraise $2000 a year. They usually get grocery store gift cards that they use year round and buy everyone Christmas gift cards for amazon and such. |

I just bought amazon, target, and grocery gift cards. I’m hoping we can get that discount for next year. |
