Wry Wednesday

We were supposed to get teacher assignments and meet the teacher meeting info in the mail today, but it didn’t come. Hopefully tomorrow. I know there is one day next week and the one day before school that they schedule for this, i just want to know when ours is!

N will be riding the bus. This is what I’m nervous for. They even have to transfer busses at another school on the way home, which makes me anxious. They say they have a lot of extra volunteers and staff the first week or two to help out all the kindergartners get on the right buses.

But she is ready. She’s grown so much this summer and doesn’t seem scared at all. She’s also excited to go back to dance and even wanted me to sign her up for math club which is one day a week after school. She’s not my baby anymore!

chrisy01 You both made this plan to work in your favor and it’s falling apart on day two. I would be pissed, especially since you had to go to your bosses to get approval for your shift change.

We talked, he got annoyed, then he realized how big of a jerk he was. He apologized and said he will talk with me before accepting a change in shift next time. I feel 1000 times better now.

In other news, E is sleeping in her own room tonight, for the first time.

I got MJ asleep in her bassinet so I was able to take a nice, long hot shower. Lovely. Normally I'm speed washing while shes in the bouncer in the bathroom with me.

nam2013 it’s kinda rough. Dude is acting out a little bit, but it’s all within the range of normal considering the circumstances. Actually, he seems to be handling things pretty well IMO.

Other than that, things are okay. Busier than ever and my anxiety is really creeping up on me some days. 🤷‍♀️

cagoldi what sort of box spring/platform do you have your Casper mattress on? I was hoping I could use the box spring that is already in the room because my stairway is tight and turns a lot of corners but that seems to be not recommended. I don’t know how I will get a new one in or the old one out.

Our meet the teacher is at 1:30 next Tuesday. The teacher also scheduled a play date this past Tuesday at 9:30am which I would have loved to go to but since I’m taking a half day next week I just couldn’t. I’m annoyed at the time but also realize that in my town there are a lot of SAHMs.

I’m just using the one I had before that we got at Sit N Sleep. I didn’t realize it wasn’t recommended, but it seems to be working g out. I sleep like a dream.
