Anything up to 20 sounds fine to me. I know there’s an aide in the classroom. And I think that helps too.

I'm a pro at the acid/heartburn pregnancy life. I suggest taking a swig of antacid liquid when you go to bed snd/or if you wake up with issues, the liquid helps much more than tums. If that doesn't work I have many other things to try.

Didn't help that my SM went to the ER, but just reported she's fine and heading home. She also just told us they signed an contract to sell the house so there's a chance this could put me into early labor.. my final exam is looking unlikely tonight 😣. I did ask J's best friend's mom if they are around and they are up for helping in a pinch since my SM isn't going to be helpful and my MIL needs 3 hours to get here. Hopefully that's enough planning to ensure nothing happens...

I'm confused by what could put you into labor. How your feeling or the fact that you SM is selling the house? How many weeks are you now?

Ha I'm just super sad they are selling the house. I kind of feel like crap and the stress from my dad's spotty updates that she had a heart attack didn't help me relax at all. She's been my SM for 30 years, so we are pretty close. I'm 35 weeks.

Crazy day here. There were 2 officers shot while serving an eviction notice. I spent about 2 hours thinking one of them was one of our good friends. And that he didn’t make it. Turns out I didn’t know the officers (MH does) and they are going to be ok, although one is in critical condition. But the shooter was on the loose and MH was at the scene for hours helping with everything. I was a nervous wreck till they caught the guy!

I talked to the Dr. she still thinks DD has a virus. She started probiotics. I brought the 3 boys to the beach and my sister was suppose to come meet us but her H is stuck at work and may be all night so they may not come.

Any chance she has strep? Did they swab or test for anything? I can also say that the virus I just had for 36hrs sounds like her first days with headache/migraine and body ache. A friend said her daughter had it bad for a few days too with no desire or difficulty eating. I just wish there was a quick fix for your dd

She had a strep test on Tuesday. The rapid one was negative and I haven’t heard otherwise. Once about 3 years ago she had something similar and after 3 trips to the doctor, the 3rd strep test sent out to the lab came back positive. Another time maybe last winter, she had 2 negative strep tests but I knew 3 kids in her class had strep and I begged the doctor to treat her and she was better in 12 hours.

I’m worried because if it’s viral, I have taken zero precautions against anyone else getting sick since I was convinced it was the migraine the first 2 days but no one else is sick. My sister’s 3 kids all slept in her bedroom with her Saturday-Sunday last weekend and my sister’s kids pick up everything and they are not sick. I mean, I’m grateful everyone else is good but it makes me more concerned about her.

I just read the past few dats but Tapa is eating some poses but it sounds like lots of people have sick kids or accidents around them. I hope everyone is on the mend soon.

My conference was great. It was a lot about teamwork and working together which was nice. I also did some great classes with an FBI agent and US Marshal on things like active shooters and human trafficking.

We also had a great time hanging out. My work bestie and I hung out in the lazy river or in the pool a lot and we had lots of other people to meet up with after hours. Needless to say I was out late a lot and I am tired.

I also came home to a sick kid. When dh picked him up yesterday he was lethargic and had a high fever. Today he’s thrown up a few times and still had a good sized fever (103) but it goes down with meds. I’m guessing he will have to skip sleeping over at my parents tomorrow.


The kitten missed me so much and has been all over me since I came home. I am pretty sure mom is giving me the cold shoulder.

Speaking of strep. Cadence has it. I picked her up today and she kept saying she was cold. She had a low grade fever. She's on antibiotics now and is acting completely fine.
Her ears were also completely blocked with wax so they tried to irrigate them. The first one was fine and they got it cleared out, but she was scream crying during the second and nothing came out. The doctor said to try some drops to loosen it, otherwise we need to take her to an ENT to get it cleared out. Fun.

The doc at urgent care said he had 4 false negative rapid tests this week that came back positive in culture. He was shocked it was so many and I could hear him talking at the nurses desk about it

I'm waiting on pictures now. No one to stay with him but he's with his brother now. Bil swears hes fine too. I can tell by his voice hes really shook up though. And devastated about his bike.

Thanks. I’ll have to get some liquid. I take omeprozole daily and tums at bedtime but man, it’s just not cutting it. Probably doesn’t help that I’ve been living on fair food the last few nights since we’ve been working at the fair.

I’m so wiped. I got the bedroom painted today and I love how light and airy it is. Can’t wait to get the new bedding on tomorrow.

Just got home from serving beer at our fair and was on my feet all night. So that, along with the painting has my body hurting. Looking forward to sleeping in again tomorrow before heading to the ILs for the day.

Yikes peachsmama, that’s scary. I’m so glad Dh has finally agreed to sell his motorcycle. He went on one last trip with his dad a couple weeks ago and now he’s going to try and sell it.

I don’t think I ever mentioned it, but he got it out a couple weeks ago to put gas in it since it hasn’t been ridden all year, and came home and parked it in the garage. Then H saw it and tried to climb on when we weren’t looking and burned his whole lower leg poor kiddo. Just another reason for me to dislike that bike!
