inthekitty What degree is YH working towards? What did he do for a living before becoming a SAHD? Could he go back to that while he finishes school?

I was reading but not keeping up. klong11 Missed your poofs the other day but i truly hope YH gets it together for your and C’s sake, otherwise I know you’ll me ready to make moves. cagoldi Did Pete move out? I might have missed that. How are you doing? guster That sucks about the cast but he sounds like a trooper.

Hi!
We are driving back from the Cape right now. I can’t wait to get home. My children were not very well behaved on this trip so remind me of that when i decide to take another family trip.
I received a job offer from the district i work in. It’s the job i interviewed for 5 months ago and actually bombed the interview. They want me to start ASAP but i can’t give notice at my current job until i know I’m approved by the school board. So I’m in a bit of a sticky situation right now with school starting in less than 3 weeks. I can’t wait to be on the other side of it and in my new role. I’ll be seeing some of the people that i currently manage though because our program runs out of this school. Might be a bit awkward at first. Gah! Having to tell my boss, coworkers, our funder, the research team, it is giving me anxiety. But this is a real career step for me. And I’m so unhappy in my current job.
Other than that, MH is still not working so that’s been fun.

Feel better, Sunny41. How does E like school? Thanks I'm starting to feel better so maybe it was a virus. But I'm still working from home today. E loves school and everyone had a better day 2 and the classes earned a marble party for filling the marble jar. We are still not excited about the after care but trying to give it a week or 2 before judging |

Glad to see you back! He wants me to give him til the end of the year, but I’m giving him til the fall. He actually was contacted about a job and had a phone interview. We are waiting to hear if he makes it to the next round. If he gets it, it could be a great opportunity. |

Morning! Kids are gone which means I just slept until 9! So amazing. That was the first night in a while H hasn’t crawled in bed and kicked me all night. Except i have a new lovely pregnancy symptom of waking up choking on acid...I think? Ew. Which is awful and gross and left the worst taste and burning feeling in my throat. But once that cleared I slept great. Now I’m going to have coffee in peace and then attempt to paint our bedroom. Maybe try taking a Zantac before bed and raising the head of the bed. |

Hey. I am feeling motivated this morning. I started laundry and have been cleaning and decluttering in the kitchen. What a pain in the butt. I’m hoping to get a paper system in place so I don’t have this happen again in 2 weeks.

He hated it and quit so that's a no go. He's working on a teaching degree. He earned his bachelor's degree so long ago he had 7 pre-reqs he needed to retake and then the 1 year Master's program. All online. Like I mentioned, he's not a good self-motivator so after starting online schooling almost a year ago he's only completed 1.5 classes.  Last year he worked as a pre-k teacher at a private school that didn't require a Master's, so there was that, but still. The year before I had to complete a program for work that was essentially a master's degree while working 2 jobs and I busted my ass to do it because it wasn't an option not to. So my sympathy is lacking. He's good with kids and that's his passion so that's one reason the TKD thing would have been a good match. |

Sounds yummy! klong11 Cute! Nope, his woman moved to CA so he followed. Plus I think some of it was wanting to branch out a bit more on his own. His new school is still affiliated with the other guy. But others have turned down other schools and this guy might be part of it. He's an amazing martial artist who used to run several schools, but has been out of his element for a while. He's in his 60s. The two schools closest to him were run by 5th degree black belts for several years, then for unrelated reasons they both left close in time to each other. I get the picture that he still thinks he can handle it all but doesn't account for the fact that he's not a spring chicken anymore. His communication is really poor but he's an 8th degree black belt so it's not like anyone can question him. |

Boston is our last stop. We’ve had 13 different overnight locations, I am quite ready for my own bed again 😉. |

inthekitty sorry the TKD thing isn’t working out. snoopmommymom good to see you. I talked to the Dr. she still thinks DD has a virus. She started probiotics. I brought the 3 boys to the beach and my sister was suppose to come meet us but her H is stuck at work and may be all night so they may not come.

Right after dinner, there was a jeep parked outside the front of our house for almost 5 minutes. We’re not really a street that gets traffic and we’re pretty far from the road, so it felt odd. MH and I kept a look out.
Then we saw a police car. Then the officers he’s walking down our drive way to tell us the Jeep hit a deer, and they police were going to have to “take care of it” and he wanted us to know when they fired the gun. So sad, and I didn’t even know they did that. Awful.

In other more pleasant news, we got Josie’s schedule and class list. Class of 12, eight of them are from the same preschool. We know two of them.
She has a two different specials every day. Like a true nerd, I printed it out and color coded it so I know when she had gym, art etc so i can dress her accordingly.

That's great guster - about class size, not the deer. I was relieved Col had about 20 kids in his class, which was similar to his preK experience. |
