M was up at 6 and is currently watching nightmare before Christmas. Today is our P party so I need to make banana pudding and narrow down my punch recipe with pear vodka.

I’ve been up since 4. He had a night terror and after I got her back to sleep I couldn’t get back to sleep.

Morning. It was in the high 50s this morning so despite being totally burned out on running lately, I practically jumped out of bed and into my sneakers. Hopefully that means I'll kick this funk when the fall rolls in.
Today is my summer work event, which I literally didn't lift a finger to help with (and I don't feel the slightest bit guilty). We are meeting at the office and taking a bus to the Essex Steam Engine, where we'll take a train ride and apparently a boat trip on the Connecticut River, before having lunch and taking the bus back. It'll take the whole day and the boys are super excited.

Morning. My right incision site is still pretty painful. I was hoping to be able to stop taking the prescription pain meds today but I will try for tomorrow instead. Anyone who has had laparoscopic surgery, how long did your incisions hurt? I also need to drink some miralax because I haven’t pooped since before surgery. There’s your daily dose of TMI. klong11 I’m sorry. |

Hi. We’re camping this weekend. Our first 3 night trip. Yesterday was a beautiful day and we capped it off at he drive in movie theater for the lion king which was great. Today is cool and rainy so we’re hiding out in the camper for now. We do have to head home for a party later this afternoon but we plan on coming back out to spend the night here. I’m looking forward to a shower.

So far our trip is starting out great. Cass has thrown up 4 times including once all over herself on the ferry. 😣😖🤮

trtlcrzy my sister had her tubes removed and said she was surprised at how much it hurt but it was like 3 days and then she was ok. She had had 3 csections prior to that and said it was as bad as the csections the first 2 days. Take a pill for another day or two if you need.

I was just thinking about you. It’s such a rough time for this drama too. Not that theirs ever a good time but with K starting soon and changes at work, it’s a lot on your plate. Yesterday DH took C to his works family day which was a bus trip to an amusement park in NH. He had a blast and was super well behaved per dh. It was a long day since they took the commuter rail into Boston and back and then we left for the Cape after they got home at 7. I had enough flex time to leave at noon yesterday but too much work. I left at 4.
We took separate cars because Monday is a RI holiday so school is closed and I am flying out for work early Monday. I’m going to drive back home early tomorrow morning to beat the Cape traffic. I’m excited to have a day of not talking to anyone. I’m going to pack, paint my toenails, and hopefully finish Working Moms.
This work trip will be fun and interesting but constant activity. There are 9 people going from the courthouse and my work bff is coming with me from Probation so we will have a lot of dinners and dancing. I need to rest up! And the resort we are staying at has a huge lazy river, pool with water slides, and a private island they ferry to all day.
It will also be a nice break from the office but there is so much work I need to do that I expect I’ll have to do some work in the room each night but I’m going to try to limit it.
So that’s where my life is at. I try to catch up when I can but just have a lot going on.

J is super constipated and wet the bed at 6am, after I was up late with my cousins talking til 1. I then kept the kids at the beach for 6+ hours bc it was a gorgeous day. We are now showered and relaxing til dinner. J has been ok thin ice and a general over tired a**hole. I ruined his whole day by making him throw back seaweed and didn't let him try eating it. Mh managed the bed delivery and the mattress arrives Tuesday. Hoping we like it!
