I stayed up when the dogs got up at 5. Answering work emails, catching up on fb.
The fridge seems to be making its normal noise today. I'm sure it wont last.
I hope to be on the road by 8, but based off me being the only one awake at 6, that likely wont happen.

Since no one in my house can get up early, we are now stuck. There is a strong storm moving through and H doesnt want to drive in it, which it is bad. But damn people, if you'd have gotten up earlier, we could have beat it.

Thanks ladies. Appt isn’t till 1, so I have all morning to wait. DH wants to get the painting done ASAP so I need to do the second coat on my sections...but I’m really not in the mood. So I’m hiding in my room for a while longer. Safe travels mwhip. I hope the storm passes quickly |

MJ threw up all over me and her the second I got her dressed. I think she's outgrown her zantac dose. Her 1 month check up is today so I'll mention it. I have loads of work to do today..

No shit, maybe you should have gotten up earlier! I got a call back from an appliance place I called last night. They had a window open today from 10-2. He said if they could confirm 10, we would wait. NO we wouldn't. Jesus, why am I the only one who likes to leave early? And now we will have to stop for lunch on the way, delaying us further. I'm so goddamn annoyed. |

I survived the first day of drop off. It wasn’t too bad. My poor guy was so nervous walking in, but he kept it together. He looked like he was going to cry, but I kept repeating big, big boy, and he did well. The teacher helped a bit, so fingers crossed he has a good day.
I’m at work, but leaving early to pick him up. Only swim on the agenda after pickup.

So I think I mentioned that my new job is regional. I had told my boss travelling would be rough, but he does want me to get to each location under our region at least 1 time just to meet everyone etc. He usually goes to the locations every other month or so and told me to just let him know which trip would make sense for me to tag along.
Well next week he is going to Boston, and MH will be home, so I'm going to join. And the best part is I have to be there for a 10 AM meeting and a dinner the same night so it gets stretched into not 1, but 2 nights in a hotel with no kids!!! Oh, and did I mention the Boston location is 7 minutes from my college roommate, so, if all goes well I get to have drinks with her when I arrive, and brunch with her before I leave.
I am so over the top excited!!!

I knew it was going to be a challenging transition with TKD, but the owner is making it more challenging than it needs to be. Last week he sent out a new schedule for this week. Last night he emailed out a NEW new schedule at 10:15 pm. It's even more confusing than the last one. In these kind of switchovers no matter how smoothly it goes you're going to lose people because some just won't adjust well to a new instructor, so trying to keep as much as possible the same is important. Parents who adjusted their work schedules are going to be pissed. Yesterday MH was just supposed to supervise, but no one showed up to teach so it was trial by fire and all on him.
