My boss is such an embarrassment. He strolled in late this morning and was harping about training he wanted people to complete last Friday (he knows the website went down so many couldn't finish it). Yesterday he conveniently wasn't here and it was insane with a lot of schedule snafus (scheduling issues have been brought to his attention many times and he refuses to address them). We've had a load of work coming in for months now so everyone is at capacity with what they can handle. And he harps about wanting people to turn in a write-up he never explained was an expectation in advance for a training day last week so he can show we did something. My view is he has plenty of time so he can do it himself.

I knew it was going to be a challenging transition with TKD, but the owner is making it more challenging than it needs to be. Last week he sent out a new schedule for this week. Last night he emailed out a NEW new schedule at 10:15 pm. It's even more confusing than the last one. In these kind of switchovers no matter how smoothly it goes you're going to lose people because some just won't adjust well to a new instructor, so trying to keep as much as possible the same is important. Parents who adjusted their work schedules are going to be pissed. Yesterday MH was just supposed to supervise, but no one showed up to teach so it was trial by fire and all on him. Another attorney quit. He is one of the younger attorneys and he got a better paying job in Dallas. His wife can now stay at home with their 2 year old and his family lives up there.
Once again the olds threw a temper tantrum and when he gave his 2 week notice they told him he could just be done that day. Dudes, get a grip.

jewels so fun, we’ll be in Boston next Thursday! flamingo I’m driving through Rockland as we speak! That's the day I will be there. Are you only there for the 1 day? I get in Wednesday evening and leave around noon Friday morning. I will be a bit outside of Boston though. like 20 minutes I believe. |

Wave to Camden for me, my sister/BIL/nephew are there now at my parents'. Weather has looked amazing! Also, hey everyone! Thanks for the recent tags. We've been busy ever since getting back from Maine and I'm kind of enjoying the social media break TBH. Kids are at camp this week (can I get an AMEN?!) so I've been trying to get all the things done. So jealous of everywhere else in the country who have already gone/are currently heading back to school...one month left...I can do this  Hope you are all enjoying the summer, I'll try to pop in but will def be back more once school resumes! |

Hi hi - I'm so tired and a bit grouchy. Tonight we are tentatively going to get j a haircut bc it went from cute long to overgrown mess overnight. Then I am picking up some PBK bedrails from FB marketplace for $30 since j loves having them and N will need a set for her twin bed eventually. And I have to go to ON bc I have return deadlines. Oh and was hoping to finish my schoolwork for the week tonight bc I'm driving to NJ tomor after dinner. And I guess I should pack..

I'm not sure...we only went over there for dinner once this year and I didn't notice it was gone. The owners of that shop used to own about 5 various stores in Camden/Rockland. They're getting older and they have sold or closed several of the businesses; if that toy shop closed they may be down to just one in Camden, Planet. If you're still in the area you could try there, they have a very nice toy department that my kids love! eta: there is a really cute old-fashioned candy shop in downtown Camden on Bay View Street called Uncle Willy's. We took the kids this year and it was a huge hit. |

Welp, I have bad news. It’s another ectopic pregnancy. It’s on the same side as last time so the OB is recommending removing my tube. This sucks so hard. I think I’m going to go ahead with that but I need to call back to schedule. We are supposed to go to the Omaha zoo tomorrow but I guess that plan is probably out.
