It was a Monday miracle. MH did a lot of cleaning so all I had to do was walk doggo and vacuum. Praise be.

lfig Did they find your IUD? Yes! But the tech said it looks like it’s up in my csection scar. So not really sure what that means... Hopefully the dr will call tomorrow with the results and a plan.

I am beat, but have an 8am conference call with Qatar so mh is taking kids in, so I get to install a carseat since I'm the default carseat parent🙄.
Oh and I asked a teacher where she takes one girl every day after school when I see her little brother get picked up.. and she's been tutoring her! For kindergarten! She's Chinese and it sounds like a cultural thing and sounds like lots of competition between what extra academic stuff the Chinese families are doing. Meanwhile I was really impressed j had the discretion to not mention his carnival to his class and brag that the teachers came over..

Got to have a 30 minute scream fest with Cadence after school because she wants her friend to come over this weekend and I said she needs to clean up all her shit first. It got to the point where she was screaming and I was throwing toys into a trash bag. After we both calmed down she started cleaning, but I had to tell her each thing to put away, one. by. one. 😠 I was about to burn shit down. So, mh gets home and I'm trying to tell him about it and how frustrated I am/was. Mid sentence he walked off singing about how he needed to do his laundry tonight. 🤔🤪 WTF DUDE!!! Ugh.

At least I know it’s in right every time.

lahdeedah why did you have to get there by 10? It's daycare, right? Shouldn't you be allowed to drop him off whenever you want? That’s their cutoff time. They say it’s disruptive to the class. Curriculum starts at 830, but no drop offs after 10am. It seems to be a hard rule for them with the exception being doctor/health appointments. I think the daycares we were at in AL didn’t make it a hard rule, but they did encourage parents to drop off no later than 9am. At our daycare in FL, once he hit the one year old room, they wanted the kids there by 8am for curriculum. I didn’t dare bring him after 8 because his teacher would cut you a look.

Lol to curriculum for 1 year olds and 8am is super early! Ours recommends being in by 9:30 and no pick ups during nap time unless extenuating circumstances. I get that routine is easier without dropoffs interrupting, but we are at a childcare center, not a school with strict hours.

That would not work. Ours encourage you to be there before 9 when the curriculum starts but don’t really care if you come in late. The only true rule is they can’t eat breakfast there if they come in after 8:40

Yeah, I was head scratching at first, but she was really structured and was like the one year old whisperer. The director talked like at the end of the year how all the kids would count to whatever and know their abcs- which is whatever. We were only in that class for two months before we moved, so I really can’t verify. This daycare was a part of a preschool at a private school, so I think they just wanted to stick with the school schedule as far as drop offs went.
