Hi! I don’t think I’ve ever started the daily before.
We are up early bc B is having his tubes put back in. He’s back there now and I’m just waiting. Putting him under was awful this time. I can’t wait to see him again
What’s everyone else up to today?

We have A's Early On appointment this morning. That's all we have on the agenda. I'm hoping I can squeeze in a little nap while A naps. I'm not a big napper, but I am TIRED today.

He was pissed when he woke up. He’s home already and I’m off to work. MH says he’s refusing to drink though so hopefully he does that soon.

I'm still tired from being in the sun and heat all day yesterday. I just keep reminding myself...Monday and Tuesday, then vacation! 2 days, I can make it!

Morning. I’m in stopped traffic on my way back home. I need these people to get it together so I can get M2 to daycare. I have to get him there before 10am. After this weekend, I do not wish to spend all day with him and M. Sorry kid. He was a terrible, terrible two this weekend.
Yesterday was a busy day. The wedding Saturday night was fun. We were invited to the bride’s parents house, which is in the same neighborhood as my ILs, for a bbq yesterday. We were there all of 30 min before I threw the towel in and left. M2 was overtired and cranky AF. I couldn’t do anything right, so it was one tantrum after the other. In a house full of people, that was miserable. We left and went to the aquarium where he slept the whole time in the stroller. Later that evening, I went to Mh’s cousin new daiquiri spot with MIL and SIL. We were supposed to be there 30 min to an hour, but yeah, it was going on 2.5 hours when we did leave. Whoops. I only had one drink since I had to drive early today. I’m so tired after this weekend. No time to nap today, though.
We have meet the teacher at 430 and swim lessons for both kids at 6pm. Hope everyone e has a decent Monday.

In addition to the super early morning, we had a busy weekend.
Saturday I left the kids with MH and went to a good friend's 40th birthday brunch that turned into an all day thing, and I had way too much to drink, so I was off the whole night.
Sunday one of the moms from DC invited a few of us over for a game night. It's a nice group of ladies so I went, even though I had to be up early today, but I Was home by 9 so not too bad.
This week is B's birthday, his birthday party, and the invasion of my inlaws (like 16 people in my house this weekend!!), but I can't even believe he's already turning 3!!

My dad is taking me to work and E to day care today. That way he has a car to use if needed.
I’m trying to find a place to recycle my old Car seats. I’m trying to do the right thing but the one place I know for sure that does it, Only does it the 1st Friday of every month. And target only takes them during their trade in event.
Maybe work will...they have a recycling program.

On our way back home. Really good trip. MH basically hit the beach the first day and realized he didn’t want to leave and miss the fun, so all of my anxiety about it melted pretty quickly. Late nights so a few mini meltdowns during the day, but happy to report they took turns and didn’t drive us crazy by having a tandem tantrum. I read sporadically throughout the week. I hope I remember everything. I’m so glad H is okay, tgrimes. It must have been so scary. thinking of you, trtlcrzy. I hope your levels stay where they need to. Crossing everything for you. Poor B! I hope the day gets better, jewels!

made it to work. It was another practice run morning for Cadence and me. It didn't go well, but we got out the door almost on time. I told her when we try again on Wednesday morning she needs to be 10-15 minutes faster. But, so do I. She and I both move very slow in the mornings and she was more than willing to just go in her pajamas this morning rather than cooperate and get dressed.

tgrimes, you might look at swim coaches that come to your home. They could come to MIL's pool and give the lessons to both M and H at the same time. OR we could all do a big kid meet up and sands42 could give them ALL lessons!

Is sands42 doing okay? Does she post on FB?

The camp I put S in this summer has them swimming 5 days a week. M-Th is swim lessons and Friday is free swim. When we went down the shore last weekend I was blown away at how much he had learned in less than a month of daily classes. It was a great way to get him lessons without having to try to fit them into my schedule. I will probably do the same camp for B when he is old enough.

Also, glad the surgery went well!

Not sure what today holds yet. I'm finishing up laundry and cleaning and I desperately need a shower. Kind of hoping we can just hang at home today.

And starting next year they have all sorts of camps he can sign up through the Y for a week at a time. They have one that is "splash camp" that is swimming till noon every morning. They have a cooking camp, a gymnastics camp, dance camp, robotics camp, etc. Right now he's just in generic play camp.

Morning. Today 2 new kids were in n's class, so it was a circus at dropoff (a parent stays the first morning). Her fav teacher said she was tearing up all weekend thinking about her moving up at the end of the month and I feel legit awful for not inviting her to the carnival since she said it was a boring weekend and her boyfriend was out of town. She doesn't have a car so didn't want her to have to pay for an Uber to get to us/pick her up. J wrote very sweet thank you notes to his teachers for coming and mh finally told his office I'm expecting by bringing donuts in. So at least he won't be going on a surprise paternity leave now.
Also my MIL was a god damn saint this weekend and I am finally feeling like the house may survive when I give birth. Our kitchen was continuously clean, she folded clothes, organized random stuff...we my just have her come a week before my due date to ease our minds a bit.

I hope to get some cleaning done today and maybe get the girls haircuts. Nothing too excitig.
We leave for Canada early SAT and I'm nervous we dont have Maddie's passport yet. Cass' arrived already. I called to check on M's and all they could say is it was "processing" with no estimated timeline. 😒

Thanks ladies. I got a call from the nurse right after 8, and she asked me to get a blood draw to check my levels before we decide how to proceed. So I went and did that and now I wait. In the meantime I’m painting the side of my house. DH made some good progress this weekend. He got the entire back done and half of one side.
