I've been busy this week looking at cars and housing a Pure Romance party last night. My allergies are out of control and I have a sore throat and I got my period over a week early after not having it for 2 months last cycle. I just got my total loss cash offer and it's 3k less than any car on the market here so there's going to be a battle

DD learned her new floor routine for next competition season today. I promised her lunch after but I had a terrible headache. Now C is napping and I’m a bit better so I promised we will go to dinner and then watch Descendants 3 together when C goes back to bed. The rest of the family is at the beach but she has a pool party for her friends who are triplets tomorrow. It’s suppose to rain, I hope they get to have the party, I’m not missing another weekend at the beach for a make- up date. I didn't know they were making a Descendants 3. Confession that even though these movies are terrible I enjoy them. Mostly, I will probably cry since Cameron Boyce just died. He’s in everything DD watches. |

My compression socks arrived and I was winded by the time I got them on my sausage legs. They do feel kind of nice now that they are on though.
My MIL decided to come this afternoon and is here now. We haven't seen her since September and she found out yesterday I am pregnant. Awkward. I'm letting her do bedtime with the kids and mh to learn the routine.
Since she's here, I made an 8am Safelite appt to fix a windshield chip from last week, which is next to my Barre studio and will do that. I think it's my last workout in a studio though, I'm feeling quite huge.

Also hi. We took the boys to a local carnival tonight and they had a blast and both ran into friends. Colin has a drop-off playdate tomorrow (!!), golf, and then a 7th birthday party for one of his friends from camp. It all seems far too grown up.
In truly shocking news, there's been progress with the Murphy bed! I mean, not tons because my FIL has been putting the main 6 panels on and taking them off repeatedly for the last 2 weeks. But he knows my parents are visiting in a few weeks and I think he's embarrassed that it looked no different from when they left a few months ago. I don't think he'll finish anytime soon but it's still nice to see some movement there!

I had the best night with DD. She’s such a good kid, I honestly don’t think I could survive my life without her. I slipped the other day and banged up my knee and she did everything for the little boys (my oldest emerged from his room 3 hours later and asked what the thump and the yelling earlier was from). She kept the dog away while I rested this afternoon. We went to dinner and then to Claire’s where I let her pick out a bunch of stuff and then we watched Descendants 3. She snuggled on the couch so of course so did the dog. MH is at the beach with 5 boys and 2 women for the night. He’s getting C all day Sunday at the beach, I’m sitting in my chair and reading.

Hopefully I can reach him and we can get this straightened out. But I'm sure they are pissed they called it a loss. It is the kbb rate but nothing here of that model yr mileage that is at a certified dealer used is that price. And the sr several listed. I feel like they could have done a minute search to realize that |

This is our last official weekend with SD. MH came in earlier and said he doesn't want this to be a goodbye weekend because it isn't goodbye. Then he got choked up and teary eyed.

I’m at the ER with H. He fell in the pool without his floaters on and no one knows how long he was under. No one was in the pool, everyone was playing on the swing set next to the pool. MH was out there watching the kids while I was helping with the dishes. Another dad saw him and pulled him out. I’m furious.
I realize accidents happen but I’m still pissed. We’ve been here almost 2 hours now. He seems to be acting fine but silent drowning and all that.
Fuck y’all.

Getting a chest X-ray. His lungs sound good and his oxygen levels are good. If the X-ray is fine then we can go home. Apparently they would have made us wait 6-8 hours regardless. But it would have been nicer to wait in this room with a bed.
