It’s Friday ladies!! What’s happening?

It felt like it took forever to get to today. I’m with my OG team today. I also am taking my dad and Emma to Disneyland tonight to watch the first Electrical parade for this run.

I have more but can’t remember right now.

We have a mandatory training day. Blah. But afterward I have sparring class which is my favorite and finally the weekend. Wahoo!

Yay for Friday!

I'm taking half day off today. Leaving at 11 to go to the gym, 12:30 appointment for an oil change, then picking up the kid and home to make spinach artichoke dip. Our VP of sales is having a pool party this afternoon, so once H gets home from Dallas, we will head to her house. It's supposed to rain though, so it may just be food and drinks. I told E as long as it isn't lightning, she can still swim. But they're talking like 10" of rain between today and tomorrow, so I don't have high hopes.

I need to finish getting her school supplies this weekend. But other than that, it should be a quiet weekend.

Happy Friday! I woke up with a horrible stomach ache so I laid back down for an hour and got into work late. It's much better now though and it was nice to get the extra hour in bed!

I forgot I have a haircut at lunch today, I thought it was next week and was going to cancel bc I want to grow it out more, but felt bad cancelling a day before, so I'm getting the smallest trim possible.

And my friend is having a happy hour/open house for his new house for some friends that can't make his house warming (and he has divorced friends that can't be at the same event), so I am going to attempt taking the kids after work. This will most likely end poorly. At least he's going to have the infant car seat for us to pickup so I can start testing 3 across. I did order a slim high back booster for $32 to test out that I didn't know existed. I hope it's decent bc diono radians are $$.

MH made plans with one of the daycare dads to eat and swim at their house tonight. Then he tells me there is a happy hour after work today. Ummmm, no dude. YOU made these plans therefore YOU need to come with us to their house. I really don't want to get in a bathing suit and be the only mom in the pool with a couple of dads. That's weird.

What's wrong with MH and I? We have two bathrooms upstairs and when we run out of toilet paper in one we just keep switching the one remaining toilet paper roll to whatever bathroom we want to use. Then once that one is finally gone one of us will get toilet paper from downstairs and bring it up for both bathrooms. Like, it'd take 2 seconds to just get more but we never do...

tgrimes I hope your husband is going with you to the pool thing. That would be weird. It isn't necessary to go to every happy hour, especially when he's the one who made the plans!

wineallthetime I make sure all bathrooms have rolls of tp. When I get below 2, I go buy a package and divide it up. DNW to have to share a roll with my H. What if he just pooped and I have to walk in for the roll. No thank you please.

Lol, well I also can't smell and we have a bathroom downstairs too. I mean, we get tp at Costco, so we have plenty to store a bunch upstairs. We just don't?

T had his last day of Safety Town today. 20 minutes after drop off, MH calls me that he got a call that T got in a fight. They weren’t sending him home but letting us know. I picked him up anyway and he’s been not allowed to do anything since. The fight was with his best friend. According to T, his friend knocked over his water bottle so he pushed him and then the friend punched him in the chest. He is heading to the beach house with my sister in an hour. He was very excited because her car has WiFi but I told him he doesn’t get to take a device.

I made it to my ILs. I got pulled over for speeding about halfway. I do have a heavy foot and was paying attention to another car when I came up on him. The kids were asleep and woke up when I stopped, too. But they grabbed the iPads and I didn’t hear a peep from them the rest of the ride in.

Not sure what’s on the agenda for today. Just playing it by ear.

Hey. I worked out in my garden this morning. It is so close to being done. I have one section left to weed and then lay mulch, which I will need to go buy 5 more bags probably. H has a fever and I saw some red spots at the back of her mouth, so I believe she has caught HFM. A new pregnancy symptom has come on this morning, my boobs are very full and a little sensitive. That’s not such a bad one to have.
