Thanks everyone. It’s been a hard year for C and I as a couple. We had been making such great progress and I feel this took us back to where we were 6 months ago.

chrisy01 That’s tough. I’m sorry this is stressing your relationship. Accidents do happen. Don’t beat yourself up over it. You have a lot going on at home and work and sometimes we lose focus. You’re human. Glad your parents could come through with the car for you. At least you won’t have that payment. It could be worse in terms of injuries to you and E. I hope you two can move past this so things can get better. Big hugs.

Ok today was productive.
Caught up on last weeks (and some from the previous weeks) laundry. I swept and mopped all downstairs. Cleaned the dining room and living room. I even purged some toys. And made some banana bread.
Things for tomorrow: birthday party for E’s boyfriend. Meet my cousins and their kids. Finish laundry and clean the garage.
My living room is a little messy because E is playing in it but I wouldn’t be embarrassed if someone came over right now.

Thanks ladies. I decided early this week I’m taking it a moment at a time. That has helped a little with the anxiety. I think C and I will get through this, on Wednesday I thought he might divorce me.
This is a low point for me but I know it could have been a lot worse. I am so thankful nothing happened to E and nothing too serious happened to me. I hope the other person is doing ok.

Dang, that sucks @sunny I hope your wrist heals quickly and you’re not too sore. chrisy01 I’m sorry you guys are having a hard time. Was your old vehicle paid off? If so then when they total it you will get the check for whatever it was worth, which will help. |

Things didn’t go as I planned, of course. We decided to go to a lake with friend and then right before nap was over I got really tired so I laid down, at like 3:30ish, and slept till 6. DH took the girls swimming anyways and then stopped to get pizza on the way home. He was a big jerk after I woke up, ragging on me missing out on “family time”. He can kiss my butt though, I am with the girls 24/7 and it was nice to have a break/nap.

Late start here: mh is making egg sandwiches for everyone, then we’ll take the kids to the playground.
I’m meeting my bf at the mall later. Her cousin just passed in a horrific hotel shuttle accident. She’s been with family non-stop since Friday night so she needs a break.

Yesterday was fun but long. Both T and C woke me up at different times overnight last night. C is napping now then we will go to the beach. Hoping to get some time alone to read on the beach later.
Anyone remember when kids go from 2 naps to 1? I thought we’d be there by now but C can’t seem to make it without 2. He’s almost 20 months. I guess it’s all going to depend on the sitter’s routine because he starts in a month.

It really is. Nine people on the shuttle to the airport and somebody crossed the median. Of the nine most of injuries were minor. Such a sad situation for a young family. |

It happened in Seattle and they live in New York. |
